Courtyard by Marriott Stamford Downtown, Stamford

Needed a place to stay after getting sick on the road, and boy was I glad to find this place. Nice staff.

My 4-year-old daughter left a "lovie" named "Bunny" in our bed, which was apparently swept up by housekeeping never to be seen again, which caused a lot of sadness over the Thanksgiving holiday. The front desk staff and management were helpful, but only minimally so, and seemed put out by our repeated inquiries about the status of the search, which turned up nothing according to the Manager. Mistakes happen, but I expect a higher degree of energy outlay in trying to correct the matter, and I also expect a greater degree of concern from the Staff. The quality of the linens and blankets were shabby at best and the swimming pool smelled so bad that we decided not to swim. We were very disappointed with the hotel Service.

One of my favorite hotels for a reasonably priced escape..Staff Mgr~Shaun,Front desk~Allison,Rochelle...Wonderful!...Short train ride to NYC without NYC prices & close to the many restaurants in Stamford. We have stayed several times each year since it's opening...sure do miss the Courtyard Breakfast Buffet.Why was it discontinued?? Napa Restaurant connected to but not owned by this hotel is overpriced,limited choices...breakfast delivery is also offered by a nearby restaurant. All & all priced right Great service,Great Staff!! I have recomended this hotel to all my clients/friends traveling for business and pleasure!

Nice location ,very clean ,the best night sleep i have ever had in any hotel. The staff are all very professional go above and beyond . We will be staying here on all our time square trips . why pay $ 300.00 a night in time square . save some cash. take the metro in. A 40 minute ride and spend all the money you save on shopping

The most poorly run restaurant still open. The service was so incompetent it would have became humorous, except that it was Mother's Day and my wife was almost in tears by the end (waitress forgot at least one entree or side dish with each course (with only 4 tables with customers after one couple walked out), food served late and cold; hostess hid in another room and became annoyed whenever roused). A limited menu and dishes could not be more tasteless (e.g., omelette that was a small hard disk with 2 slices of mushroom and 2 pieces of pepper, overdone poached eggs on a plate without bread, bagel that arrived after 35 minutes without being browned). So bad it's actually offensive.

I am originally from the area and have recently been considering moving back. This is a great property. Truly great staff. A fun staff! Hotel is just beautiful. The hotel rates are definately competitive for the area, but I feel it was a really good value for the experience and being right in the center of downtown Stamford.

Great, brand new hotel in the center of Downtown Stamford... Courtney, Marie, Francine and Dawn are all truly professional and great staff members. Always smiling, always helpful. They make my time away from home much more tolerable. I find that I now look forward to my business trips in Stamford. Napa Restaurant has an incredible wine selection and the food is great (pricey, but delicious). You won't be disapppointed.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and new. The staff was superb. Very professional, and yet fun. Location is perfect. In the center of everything. I loved the "R Bar"...The Bartender is a riot! You don't expect to have that much of a good time at a "hotel bar"... The hotel is rather pricey, but worth the extra money for the experience.

great spot in stamford, very good for business or families, best food right there on summer st. just walk to everthing.and close to 95. movies shoping all walking distence
