i dislike this hotel about poor service. We need go upstare using life. Mosely the lift cannot function going to hotel. This hotel also have alternative hotel but go to shooping complex. But this take times. Also most of the person not happy at all. I think about "stress".

Not for the price we paid!
By ,
My Expectations went down the drain. Besides having a mall of which half the shops were not opened in June 2005, I suggest if you to stay for the Mall then look for another place. Hotel is detached from the reception, you will not feel the ambience of being in a Hotel. The TV programmes are local, no satelite. I stayed in Brooklyn suite besides having clean rooms, nothing else is provided. You have to stand on a long queu for breakfast and waiting for elevators. Corridors very hot airconditioners are not put on. If you like a peace of mind than Berjaya is not the place.

Great place, bad service
By ,
The rooms are great, view is nice, location is good. Price would have been justified if the service is very much better. On one of the nights we were there, the power tripped in our suite. My elderly parents (who were the only ones in the room at that time..the rest of us had gone out shopping!) had to wait for one and a half hours, in the dark with no air con, for someone to come up! Even then, it was after they had called the reception at least 3 times! Other than that, everything else was pretty alright.

I won't be going back to that place even though I am being drag there!!!!
By ,
The place is hadr to be seen and the service is very bad!!! It is a question mark in how did this type of organisations gets a 5 star rating for the hotel!!!! They have only few Food & Beverage outlets and they are rated 5 star which is ridiculous and what make it worse is the service provided by the staff!! They do not smile and they are not alert on the needs of the customer and often I have to waived and called out to the staff to order my food & drinks, clear my dirty dishes and topping up my iced water and have to wait nearly 1/2 hours for my bill to be presented!!! This is totally unacceptable as when all this happen, there is not even one manager to come forwards to appologies!!! I would not go back to this place even in a million years!!! Bad management system!!!!!!

Bad Experience With 5 Star Hotel
By ,
I had earlier been given good recommendations on this hotel, so I was looking forward to my visit. The best thing about the hotel is its location - right in the middle of the Bukit Bintang area, with plenty to choice of food, shopping and entertainment even within the Times Square complex. The hotel itself was disappointing. NEVER, NEVER GO TO THE 10TH AVENUE FOOD MALL for meals. They are totally ripe OFF. Checked in late at about 5.30 pm, but room still not ready. Worst of all, we were confirmed of a Superior room but end up with a Deluxe room where it s more than we budgeted. Room carpet was dirty, hot water wasn't working after several complaints. The service is terrible. I needed to ring the housekeeping 5-7 times to get a towel! The men working there aren't well trained. They think that face towels are for VIPs only! Our stay there was dreadful! I have to run several times to the reception to have our room card replace because every times we inserted it to the lift, it will tell you we are entering a restricted level / floor. And it take more than 10 minutes to get up to our room. The place is hard to be seen and the service is very bad!!! My advise, with this kind of rate, one can get a better hotel within the Bukit Bintang area. At least you don't face those un-friendly staff who is selling their service.

Needs Improvements - Alot
By ,
The studio room we stayed was nice. Different than ordinary hotel rooms. But we had to wait a long time before it was ready (maybe school hols season - busy time). Asked for extra pillows, took a long time to be delivered (until bedtime not delivered, so we had to remind again). The inroom tea/coffee wasnt placed nicely. No iron and board. The reception lobby's lighting dark. Not warm and welcoming. At that time, no lobby seats too. We cut short our stay and moved to hotel across the road. A pity, we liked the room.

Aw man! Don't ever bring me back!
By ,
The service is terrible. I needed to ring the housekeeping 5-7 times to get a towel! The men working there aren't well trained. They think that face towels are for VIPs only! The shopping mall in the hotel is a noisy area. It was never a good idea to blend thrill rides with the shopping centre. When I walked in there was loud music and I could hear the screams from the people that were on the roller coaster above. I was tired and hungry. I had to walk miles to find the food stall that a limo driver recommended. There were hardly any maps of the place. My stay there was dreadful!

One of the best!
By ,
There's nothing bad about this hotel. Everything is just great. I wrote in a letter of complaint regarding one of the receptionist at the front desk and received a letter of apology via snail mail (was very surprised!) from the hotel even though the matter was solved by the duty manager then. Their service and service recovery provided are excellent! Because of that, they earned a loyal customer!

Disappointed
By ,
I had earlier been given good recommendations on this hotel, so I was looking forward to my visit. Checked in late ~ 4.00 pm, but room still not ready. Room carpet was dirty, hot water wasn't working after 1 hour. Maintenance took 2 phone calls to show up to fix the hot water. The best thing about the hotel is its location - right in the middle of the Bukit Bintang area, with plenty to choice of food, shopping and entertainment even within the Times Square complex. The hotel itself was disappointing
