Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

The shopping centre was excellent, best part of our stay. The menu food was cooked very well however our room service meals came at different times, even though they asked if this was ok that is not really good enough as I was not going to agree to my fiances meal sitting to get cold while mine got cooked. Breakfast was average and there was no system so we were constantly dodging other guests while trying not to drop our plate. Bell boy was rude when he realised that we were not going to tip him, he stood in the room staring at us for ages before leaving us in peace...after a flight and an hours drive from the air port I just wanted to be left alone to get rid of my headache. The hallways and lifts are very hot, people were smoking inside which was horrible for non smokers! THE TWO THINGS THAT WOULD HAVE TO CHANGE FOR US TO RETURN IS THE PILLOWS AND POWER POINTS. I woke up with a head ache every day from the large uneven lumps in the pillows and my partner slept on the couch every night with our plane neck pillows as that was more comfortable (not very romantic!) The bed materess was rock solid. Then to top it all off the power points work when they want to, my fiance got shocked by a point when trying to get it working to charge my mobile, the whole socket could come out of the wall!

its really a very bad hotel and iam not recomended anyone to visit or stay on it , very bad and old service , furniture , staff, food . i will not visit it or recomend it any more.

Location was nice because it is next to a shopping cente rand also it is just walking distance to the downtown area.staff are unfriendly and we have to wait for more than an hour for our room reservation. the bathroom was horrible. The water was leaking in the faucet and the toilet bowl was not fixed well. The buffet breakfast was very crowded and we have to eat outside because it was not organized at all. We stayed in 4 different hotels during our 16 days in malaysia but this was the worst hotel we had.

Stayed in deluxe room 2109, seems big and nice at first. But later found many baby cockroaches in toilet floor. 2nd day became really unbearable as many transparent, middle-size cockroaches started crawling on toilet's floor, pantry's floor, TV cabinet, wardrobe, even above the doors and on mirror while I'm washing face! In total, my partner and I killed 12 roaches with the bath slippers provided. 1am: Made 1st complaint to the receptionist for some pesticide spray which a staff later came but reluctant to supply us the spray can for entire night. Made 2nd complaint again then change room for us, this time the room is cleaner with tissue box and toothbrush set provided as it was not provided in my earlier room. Pantry area found 1 tidbit not vacuum but luckily no cockroaches anymore. Overall, not a pleasant stay for 4-start hotel for having such pest around. It definitely dampens the holiday spirits. With such horrible experience, its hard for me to stay with them ever again. Be sure to check around your hotel to ensure there are no holes ard bath tub area and it must be thoroughly cleaned too.

Great location in the heart of KL and right next to the shopping malls. Rooms were clean and functional, however general staff friendliness was poor and the room service was appalling - over an hour wait, wanting cash payment, wrong food and wine. Won't be going back.

No dislikes,just like it very much,good buffet breakfast and dinner,luxury rooms,great view over Kuala Lumpur,no wonder it was rated 5 stars!Just subscribe for a 4-5 days stay everyone!!

I felt disappointed staying at this hotel because the service is so bad.At that time I just arrived from Thailand and I would like to keep my luggage there for 2 days because the next day I would fly to Singapore for 2 days and I went back to Kl on the 3rd day and I stayed at this hotel. But, surprisingly when I came to this hotel to put my luggage, the bellboy of this hotel directly asked me if I was sure staying at this hotel. And I answered yes but he still asked me if I was really sure about it with underestimate intonation. I was surprised and I tried to be calm because It was late already and I was too tired. Besides that the bed is dirty because I felt itchy during the night and I could not sleep. So I didn't want to stay at this hotel again forever.

room service was cheap and really good, but breakfast was shocking

First time in KL and was pleased to stay in Berjaya Time Square Hotel. It is very convenient to go around town as the location is very centralised and can get transportation easily as monorail is just a stone throw. But suggest that the management of the hotel changes the carpet as it looks very old and dirty. Kettles need to be replaced as its rusty. Request for replacement and still get the same result. But over all I will stay in this hotel again if I will be in KL.

My wife, my 6 year old and myself spent time at the Berjaya last September and absolutely enjoyed our experience. Sure there were some minor problems but nothing that wasn't fixed straight away by the very efficient staff. Talk about a huge hotel swimming pool! Having so much to do in the complex itself, Cosmos World (indoor theme park) bowling, IMAX movies and yummy food was really pleasing when on holidays with a child. We enjoyed the experience so much that we will be there in 3 weeks time.
