Bel Azur Thalassa, Qurbus

The hotel itself is tired and with 70's decore and is not the cleanest hotel I have stayed in. I know its only a 3 star but you expect it to be clean. The food was ok as long as you got in before the French as I have never seen people eat like that before!! Now ladies be carefull of the Animation team, we were there for 2 weeks with our teenage daughters and the animation team we thought were nice and looked after them. Only to return home to find out my 15 year old daughter had kept in Contact with the lead animator and he had asked her to send over a considerable amount of cash. We have put in complaints to our tour operator. On descovering this we have found this is comman practice in Hammamet, so ladies please beware you are not the only ones.

i loved this place! i made so many new friends that worked there for the animation team. one person wrote on here a bit further down saying that if they saw a person who was tanned,and wore a cap to say hello.does anybody no his name? he was great! i cant believe i left there without getting his address,so if the person who wanted for somebody to say hello to him,could you tell me his name please? thanks!! well overall..i loved this hotel and the entertainment was fab. i hope one day i will go back there. The only thing that put me off was the older men.they were pervs man! i had one man following me and i got asked to live with another! I just want to say thankyou for all the people that made the holiday..THE BEST YET! XXxxXX

on my stay at the bel azur was really good. the staff were really friendly and would do anything to please you. as i have younger brother and sister the staff were really good with the children. at night there was alwayz something for the children and the adults at the ampatheatre. the locals were also really friendly.the maid would do anything to be helpful. our room was alwayz clean. we always had clean towels. my holiday to tunisia was better than the rest of my holidays in the past. we are going back to tunisia on the 29th july 2007. we are goin back to this hotel. i would say you should try this hotel. :-)

this was me n my best mate gemmas bst bst bst hols ever...both 14 it was are first time tunisia...after a funny arrival at 5am in the morning after gettin a taxi ride there.....we didnt no what to expet...we didnt sleep and got up at 7am n went 2 breakfast..there was soooo much to chose frm we didnt no 2 pick...then we had a looked around the hotel and were first in the pool.....the weather was mavalous...and the animation team as well as lots of local boys took alikein 2 us hehe......the meals were wonderful and soo were all the staff...the maids were excellent and did anythink for you...the rest of the staff espically the animation team were lots n lots of fun...me and gema didnt want 2 leave after a week it felt like we had been ther 6 weeks...it is very laid back and relaxed but lots going on....we really want 2 go back just a quick note to all teenage english girls...just a warnin the animation team and local boys will take a likin to you espically if you are loud hehe good luck to anyone who goes you will hav a fab fab fab time love to everyone at the hotels Hannah xxxxx

wespent a month in this hotel the staff were so friendly food was top of the range the entertainment was ok the entertainment staff worked hard to make sure we enjoyed ourselves we were told that this jan was the bst weather they had had in 5 years so we dropped luck plenty of cafe,s to pop into good value for money hope we can get in at the same place next year [and for the same very cheap price ]lol

It was just a simple quiet two friends holiday but it actually turned out we had a time of our lives. It was so sereal and awesome. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly...and a great laugh. We loved it so much we are going back. For all you clubbers make sure you visit Latino club.. it plays great music, sexy dancers and oh yeh its just wicked. Mostly recommended. WE LOVE TUNISIA!!! CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!!

needs to cater for english more where food is concerned, needs to be cleaner, and could do with renevating, but why in tunisia if your happy to do what the tunisians do, your have a great time, friendly staff, but very rude guests from europe. entertainment poor, but if your happy to make your own, the animation staff work hard with what they have. tattoo,s a complex to exspensive beware.

i couldnt say anythink bad about the hotel it had everything u want n the animation team were fantastic and very friendly the rooms had everythink u needed n were very clean and the maids were also very nice as so were all the staff

The Bel Azur hotel is definately not a 3 star hotel. It should have been classed as 2 star. There were cockroaches, ants and hairballs in all the rooms, and mice running around outside the hotel - how gross!! We were a party of 13, all the rooms were dirty, they dont give you clean towels everyday. The Buffet in the evening was the same thing every night - no variety. Staff very unfriendly very unhelpful. Would not go again and would not recommend anyone to go to this hotel.

Tunisia was by far one of the best countries i've ever visited, the food was to die for, the people where friendly and helpful, they made you feel at home with a variety of night life and day time activities the beaches are sandy white with a beautiful bluey water, i would go back there soon
