We are a micro-hostel with an eight-bed, maximum capacity. We offer positive and enriching hostelling-like exchanges, flexibility, conviviality and clean, safe, affordable accommodation. Some have described us as a very laid-back facility, offering the right mix of comfort and convenience at a very competitive price. Our dorm features a large, double-room, furnished suite with a separate, equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower & tub combination. Front and rear balconies add to the amenities.We are the only hostel, located between the Olympic Stadium and the Gay Village, in Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, a traditionally working-class neighborhood in Montreals east end, easily recognizable thanks to the Olympic Stadium, built for the 1976 Olympic Games. The stadiums impressive tower and architecture are more than an international symbol of Montreal; they house convention facilities which attract many exhibitors and visitors. Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve is also home to attractions such as the Biodome living museum and the magnificent Chteau Dufresne Museum.This residential neighborhood offers a pleasant living environment. Although we offer our guests a fully functional kitchen with lots of storage space, many have opted to take advantage of the local restaurant specials as the cost of living is generally lower here than elsewhere, on the Island of Montreal, and its proximity to the Maisonneuve Market, with its wealth of fresh produce, is a definite advantage. Parks are abundant here, as well, including the Bellerive Promenade, the ideal place for hiking or biking. As everywhere else, on the island, there are numerous municipal facilities: community gardens, soccer fields, and sports centers.
