Jeffs Place brings back to Budapest the Hungarian tradition of the Vendegl, or guest accommodation. A place that doesnt compromise on comfort; thats centrally-located, near the major Metros, trams, and buses; that's in a vibrant neighborhood where you can find hundreds of restaurant, galleries, shops and cafes; a place that's within walking distance of most sights, yet calm and quiet and restful.Jeff's Place is designed so that each bedroom provides the comforts of a fine hotel room with secure door, writing desk, small fridge, flat panel TVs (with cable TV), WIFI, phone(with free international calling to landlines around the world and some country mobiles), all complimented with fine linens and the same towels used on the Presidential yacht Sequoia.You will find a bathroom with custom shower, sink, and toilet, plus a separate WC (with toilet and sink), and gracious fully equipped eat-in kitchen. The entire apartment is tastefully appointed, has WiFi throughout, unlimited International calling and local (pay-for-minutes) mobile phone; small library of guidebooks and leisure reading. Plus the amenities you expect: toiletries and emergency supplies in the bathroom from soap to bandaids in the bath, the best coffee youve ever tasted (Nespresso coffee system and pods provided) as well as staples in the kitchen, umbrellas and rain ponchos by the door.The neighborhood at the edge of the town center is remarkable and unique: One block from the Kalvin ter Metro station; one block from the Raday utca caf, gallery, and pub scene; two blocks from the stunning National Museum and the remarkably renovated central Public Library building). An artists, designers, and bohemians haven. The Frank Zappa Caf is a block away, as is one of the citys best Blues cafs. Theres a design showcase a couple of blocks north with a great atrium caf, and the Hungarian architects society is just around the corner, with an inexpensive and lovely outdoor restaurant. There are Retro fashion shops, used vinyl record shops, and an Indian Bazaar. Not surprisingly, its also a major university center, with the medical school across the street and two of Budapests most important universities filling many of the surrounding blocks. A modern full-service neighborhood market (open 365 days a year) sits at the end of the block. Jeff's Place maintains a 10:00PM noise curfew and is not a party house. There is no smoking within the apartment and no pets. We also do not have full time reception and require check-in by 8:00PM and check-out no later than 11:00AM. We can store some bags to assist guests as necessary.Please advice about arrival time.
