STAY AWAY!!!!
We have just returned from a weekend stay at the Hilton Garden Inn-Cedar Bluff. We were a business group of 4 adult men who had booked 2, 2 bed rooms on the Hilton website. Once we arrived, not only did we find out that there is construction taking place on the 3 rd floor, we also were told that they would have to put us in 2 king rooms. Two business men to a bed is unacceptable. Not only did we take the mistake to the mgr on duty,who was totally unhelpful, condescending and arrogant, but we also had the general manager called. To make matters worse, they were not even sold out. We confirmed that there were still 5 rooms available with king beds, but were told that they would charge us an additional $89 per room for their mistake. Yes, that was in addition to the $300+ we were being charged for the 2 king rooms. As a frequent traveler, and businessman, I hope anyone thinking of staying here will reconsider and stay elsewhere...The attitude of this hotel was certainly not one of welcoming patrons or doing the RIGHT thing!.
