Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh Downtown, Pittsburgh

My first stay at this Courtyard was a plesant surprise. I felt more like I was in a European hotel. Very different feel than most Courtyards. I'll definately stay here again. R.N. Highlands Ranch, Colorado

While my father was in Allegheny Hospital, my mother and I stayed at the hotel. Very clean, very friendly, lovely rooms. Everyone went out of their way to make a very trying time much easier. My hats off to the valet service, especially John and Dustin. Great Job Guys!!!

Being a native Pittsburgher and knowing what these buildings used to be, it was a pleasant surprise to experience the well-renovated structure that now makes up the Courtyard Marriott. Really easy access, clean, contemporary decor and very hospitable personnel. We had two rooms, one of which had an A/C problem and so they quickly relocated us to a slightly larger room. Rooms were very, very clean, comfortable and quiet. My floor was full but I could not hear my neighbors which was great! Had breakfast each morning at the Cafe on ground level; the service could be a bit better but it's a buffet for the most part so no big deal. Overall, very accomodating staff, good valet service, excellent value for the dollar and great location. I'm used to staying elsewhere downtown when I visit Pittsburgh but I'll probably stay here again soon!

We had made reservations for two adjacent rooms which we never got. Upon arriving we were assured that the second room would be available the next day and be adjacent to the first. This was not true. We finally got compensated a little bit for the inconvenience, but I am now rrealizing that our credit card was billed an extra room for an extra day.Such hassle having to deal with all this. I will never stay at this hotel again. B.B. Winston
