Comfort Suites Alamo/Riverwalk, San Antonio

Do not hesitate about booking this hotel! We loved it and the value was amazing. Being a new hotel, it was immaculate and very comfortable. They have all of the extra touches that make it perfect for the family including the little put-put golf area and beautiful patio out by the pool. We were extremely impressed with the breakfast buffet. This saved us alot of money by starting the day with a hot meal. They had eggs, potatoes, waffels and even turkey bacon! The staff kept in well stocked and clean untill after 10 am, unlike other hotels that let it run down. All the staff was helpful, polite, and professional. The housekeeping was top notch, everything was immaculate. The convience to the riverwalk was great. It took about 5 minutes with 3 small kids. There is a yellow route streetcar stop across from the hotel that took us farther down for $1 each. I was worried about the parking situation after reading other reviews. Contrary, everything seemed very safe. The car lot had a tall fence all the way around and we could see the car through the window. We had to drive 20 minutes to Seaworld but it was worth it to stay at this nice of a hotel and be close to everything else. I never thought I would brag so much about a midrange hotel, but this one is not your ususal Comfort Suites. I highly recommed you stay here if you are looking for a clean, convienent hotel on a budget. Honestly they could get away with charging double, it was worth every penny.
