Lake Eve Resort, Orlando

Do not book a room at Lake Eve Resort. We made reservations 5 months in advance only to find our that the Lake Eve cancelled them the day of our arrival. Our reservations were for 1 full week. We had flown in on a late flight and arrived at the hotel at sometime after 11:00 pm. We had reservied our rooms with a credit card. When we arrived we were told that our reservation was cancelled because our credit card was declined. This is a total lie - the credit card had lots of room on it. We were also told that they had tried to call us on the number we left on the reservation. Once again this was another lie - no phone call was received (or voice mail left). When we said that there must be a mistake we were treated extreemly badly. The front desk staff basicly sent us a way away and said 'tough luck'. While we were trying to work this out at the front a family came in to check in - they were told the exact same thing. It sure seems that they had overbooked and were simply sending away those of us who arrived last. I called and left 3 messages for Lisa the manager and she has still not returned my phone call. They treated us terribly (extreemly rude), gave away our reservation, and the manager will not even return a phone call. Avoid this hotel - they caused us a lot of grief and really didn't seem to care. If they would have said "We are so sorry - lets see what we can do to help" then I would feel totally different. They didn't - instead we were left without a place to stay and ended up having to change hotels every night of our stay because everything in the area was booked well in advance. Avoid this hotel - they really do not understand or care about customer service or integrety. There are a lot of other great places in the area. The Floriday's Resort just a block away has the same type of suites and has excellent customer service. They really tried to help us as best they could when we arrived at the frond dest after midnight after being turned away at Lake Eve Resort. Go to Floriday's - go to one of the great Marriot properties that are close - just avoid Lake Eve Resort.

Very clean rooms, nice swimming pool, and easy distance to Walt Disney World.

Very comfortable bedding. Clean rooms. Best value for the money. Friendly staff. Nice choice for long periods of stay. Comfortable and clean furnitures. Enjoyed the amenities available in the fully equipped kitchen. Strongly recommend it to others. Sincerely, a traveller from North Carolina

Beautiful huge clean suite . It was the perfect apartment to stay in especially for families, it had everything you need. We could view fire works from our balcony. All of the attractions are near, Disney World 10 minutes away. It was worth time and money, we can't wait to come back.

LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. IT WAS HOME AWAY FROM HOME. VERY VERY VERY CLEAN, QUIET AND RELAXING. HOTEL STAFF VERY HELPFUL. I ALREADY HAVE PLANS TO RETURN IN AUGUST 2009.

Clean! New! The beds are very comfortable. The washing machine and dryer are in the room with you. It has a full kitchen, stove, microwave, dishwasher, refridgerator with ice and water in the door. 2 FULL baths in the two bedroom rooms. The location is easy in and easy out, it is not crowded by the other resorts. I can't wait to go back!
