First off, we were amazed as soon as we walked thru the door!! The lobby itself was very elegant and extremely clean. The staff that checked us in at the front desk was extremely professional and polite, every question we asked were answered and the end reply from the entire staff was "my pleasure". The real deal that pushed them over the edge of being the best place we have ever stayed was our kids got a 24 hour bug that made them sick and kept us up all night cleaning, but we were not alone in the cleaning! The staff was so polite and understanding of the kids being sick and they came up to our room at least 3 times to change out all the sheets, blankets, and comforters....... when they did this, they did not even make a bad face or roll their eyes but instead was so understanding and helpful in taking care of our children. I went to the store to get some medication and they came up to the room and helped my wife all hours of the night. Thats only the beginning of the experience we had..... I didn't have change for the hotel laundry to clean the messy clothes and all I had was a 20 and the hotel staff member gave me enough quarters to make sure I take care of the kids clothes, which was so kind of the staff member..... wait, it doesn't end there... I was also down stairs watching the game and my son had a upset stomach and the staff members also gave him a mist soda to try to settle his stomach...... then in the morning the kids were still not feeling so hot and they didn't finish their breakfast and the staff member there also went in the back and had some of those great tasting waffles made and placed them in a to go box so they can eat it later when they felt better..... The staff was so wonderful that when we told some of our family members that were staying at another hotel left their hotel and came to this one and the staff were so professional to them as well and also assisted them with a discount that I was allowed and just hooked them up as well.... Our family members go to Spartanburg all the time and now they have decided to go to this hotel from now on..... Another thing was when my son was feeling better, he wanted to play all over the hotel and I chased him around with no problems with the staff.... I have been to places where there has been things said about a 2 year old just trying to have some fun.... THIS IS A GREAT PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, EXTREMELY ELEGANT, AND WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY AND WE RECOMMEND IT TO ALL PEOPLE COMING IN WANTING TO STAY AT A GREAT PLACE!!!!!!! We love the staff and the hotel as well...

Dangerous. Homeless man begged for money at occupied car in front parking lot, left note under wiper. Noone at desk on arrival, 6:30pm, in a hurry to get to 8pm play. Told on 2 phone calls breakfast free with room. Desk clerk on personal phone call next am, eventually said bf not served unless certain # people in hotel or with my Rm #436 (sr. discount) farthest away from elevator. With diabetes must have food. No close restaurants. Desk clerks curt. First given 8th floor room when had requested lower flr when reservatio made. Poor view from room. Waitress and hostess in dining room very nice.

The staff is awesome, the rooms are clean, bathrooms are huge. Anyone traveling into this area will be amazed at how friendly and helpful the people are in this town. Not one single complaint about this place at all. They have an awesome pool deck outside and the inside of this hotel is huge! Great place.

The service and courteous staff was fantastic. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone. The fitness room was convienant and clean also. The restaurants were fantastic. Rooms were clean and spacious. Great value for the dollar!

I like the friendly face that you see when you check in. The nightlife, bar and beds.

What a treat it is to walk into the wide open lobby and be greated by smiling people. And to top it....the rooms are world class, the beds are so good that you wish you could skip a couple of meetings and stay in bed. The internet access works with lightning speed and reliable (why do they have to charge $ 10 for it?). The restaurant provides excellent service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The serving staff knows what they're talking about. The only temporary drawback is the construction on the golf course. Book early, or you might get stuck with a rather high rate.
