THE WORST HOTEL I EVER STAYED OUT!!!! NEVER AGAIN
By Keya, 10/26/09
This is worst hotel i ever stayed. Unfortunately for me i prepaid the room before i got there. As soon as i walked in the room it smelt so bad. it had musky and damp smell. The bath tub looked like it was just wiped down. The comforter smell like bad, they smelt like they never been cleaned. The sheets were horrible. I found hair in the bed. The carpet was the worst. It smelt so bad and look dirty. You can tell it never been shampoo. I suggest that you wash all your clean and dirty clothing in hot water when u arrive home. That place is just a mess, and need to be updated. House keeping horrible, they need to be fired because the rooms smelt bad and looked dirty!! 40 is cheap but still the rooms need to be cleaned , not looking the way it did, and smelling the way it!!! Dont waste your money!!!

Worst Motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/08
This is the worst Motel(Yes its not even an hotel), I have ever visited. Rooms smell Bad, Didnt felt like keeping my feet on the carpet. Staff was very unfriendly. Not a good place to visit with the family specially kids. I had a nightmare staying at this motel. Think twice before you are booking a room here as there are very good hotels in .5 miles of vicinity.

Good Staff;Dirty Room
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/25/08
The front desk staff was very helpful. They were willing to answer all questions in a friendly tone. The location was also excellent. The room was another matter. The linens, carpet, and bedding were abominable. We had to spread extra sheets on the bed. The bathroom tub looked as if it needed a good scrubbing. The towels in the bathroom were grimy because they looked as if they had not been washed properly(if that). House cleaning is also a luxury. Overall, while the price, staff, and location are good, the hotel is sadly lacking in cleanliness.

Front desk clerk
By montreal, 03/21/08
The front desk clerk by the name of Dianna Sivels was very polite and helpful. I will be staying there again soon. If we needed help finding a place to eat she was always suggesting restaurants.

Does not recommend!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/19/07
We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights and were totally not pleased with the quality of the rooms. 1st impression upon opening the doors, gosh, this place needs an upgrade. The furniture was very old, including the television. The floors/carpet were very dirty. PLEASE!! change out the tile. It is too late to salvage since housekeeping doesn't know how to use a mop. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and in the vanity. The bedspreads need to be replaced. When we pulled back 1 of them, yuck, fuzz balls all over the place. The refrigerator needs to be cleaned after each stay. It was so hard to open the freezer, my mom thought it was locked with a key. We requested our rooms to be cleaned each day with fresh towels and that never happened. There is also a sign posted in the bathroom that states if you need to replace towels during your stay there may be a nominal charge- go figure. Fortunately we were not charged for clean towels. However, on one ocassion, I had to wait while the clerk folded towels for me and the next day, I had to wait until the clerk/security go to vacant rooms to get clean towels as they did not have any in the office. If I had not prepaid for the rooms, we would have definitely left this hotel. I asked for a refund on my 2nd night only to be told by the clerk/security he didn't know how to issue the refunds for prepaid rooms. My overall opinion of this hotel- RUN FOREST RUN!!!

The picture of the room that the website provided did not to justice. First, the smell of the room was terrible. Second, the carpet in the room was filthy. Brought 7 pairs of white socks and had to throw out 7 pairs of stained black socks. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a 747 taking off. I would recommend bringing your own cleaning supplies to clean everything yourself from the bathtub, sink, kitchen counter, etc. Smoke dector was hanging off the ceiling, main door was off center(looked like somebody tried to kick it in), must have hired a non professional painter because paint drops were everywhere. The same with the floor tile...grout was all over the side of the tub and wall. The free high speed internet service was very slow. It took 45 min just to look up one item on one website. This was every night. The staff was not very friendly. It was more of a inconvenience to them trying to answer your question.

Affordable, and I thought the full kitchen was great, but Linens were changed only the first I week out of my two week stay.
By Vincent, 09/29/06
The Pros: Affordable price; About $41 per night for my two week stay. Also, I thought it was great that I got a kitchen with a refridgerator, dishes, utensils, and glasses! I thought that was awsome! :) Location was good, because it was near I-64, and Greenbreir Parkway. It was cool that there were laundry/and dryers on the hotel premises. Staff was very freindly too. Cons: My linens were only changed once during my first week, and not during the second week of my stay. My place was stinking by the time I left...ewwwwww.. I would probably stay there again, but not for more then a week.
