Wouldn't stay ever again!
By Stephanie, 08/17/09
I was there for a retirement party for a very special person in my life and I wasn’t going to miss it for anything. Unfortunately, the party I didn’t fall on my payday week, and I didn’t have any money. This hotel looked good from the pictures on the internet, and best of all, it was cheap. This was the nasty hotel I have stayed at. The grounds and hotel were clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and let me check in early. The room wasn’t great, which was expected… the more I examined the room the worst it got. The room was dreadful… bathroom & kitchenette hadn’t been mopped in weeks. There was hair and trash on the floor. I asked to switch to another room because the safely knob on the door was broken and I didn’t’ want to stay in a room without one. The room they gave me was even more dreadful. It’s a shame because it’s in a nice neighborhood. After I checked in and find out how awful the hotel was, the staff was not that helpful like in the beginning. The hotel is an extended stay and most of the guests are working men that companies have sent to work in the area. I didn’t feel unsafe because they did have security at night, but the rooms were so nasty it made you not want to touch anything. It was cheap, but it wasn’t worth saving a few bucks. Thank GOD we didn’t stay more than 12 hours. The local police should investigate the hotel because I am pretty sure a prostitution ring running out of the hotel. There were two women working there.

NASTY, STAINED, NASTY, NASTY!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/09
The rooms were nasty, lock on door did not work, bathroom was nasty, stains on carpet, no clean towels, no toliet paper, not iron and kitchen area was nasty. My friends and I went to the Wal-Mart down the street to purchase sheets, towels and toliet paper. Some of the employees were laughing at the fact of so many people coming to the office wiht issues......... DO NOT STAY HERE!

I will never stay there again!!
By sweetthang_19653, 03/14/09
I booked my room and was told that this was a very nice and clean hotel. When we walked into the room we had roaches crawling all over the place, kitchen cabinets, bathroom and on beds. There was trash under the beds as if they haven't been clean in a few years. The toilet backed up all over the floor and when I called for maintenance, I was told that there were no maintenance service at night. We had to deal with the flooded bathroom ourselves. We had a coffee maker, but no coffee pot or coffee, the sheets were dirty and had stains all over as if they were not changed from the guest prior to our stay. I called the front desk to report this and the lady tells me that there wasn't anything that she could do, I'd have to wait till the next day. I was NOT HAPPY at all!!!!! When I called and spoke with the manager, she never would return my calls and then finally I was able to get through to her and she apologized to me for this and then said that these rooms are used mainly for "construction" workers and she has no idea of the condition of the rooms once they check out. So, that tells me that these rooms don't get cleaned from one guest to the next guest.

Not at all what I expected!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/06/08
Likes - It was near the hotel that was having the convention I needed to attend. Also liked the area because it was near shopping centers and restaurants. Dislikes- No daily cleaning room service. I have never heard of that. I had to go to the front desk to get clean towels that was counted out to me. I also had to go to the front desk to get extra pillows ,which was given to me without pillow cases. I had ask for the cases and the clerk looked surprised. Next, I asked for a copy of the payment receipt that I signed. The clerk asked me, "FOR WHAT?" The rooms are smaller that what I expected and they did not have a clean smell. I had to clean the room. Now I see that the rooms were $63 a night and I paid $72.00. I was jipped!

Ok for the price/ Not as bad as I expected
By CW, 10/30/07
With what the media says about New Orleans I felt like I was venturing into "Mad Max's" World. Suprisingly it was not. A clean hotel for a cheap price. It is in a awkward position on the road but if value and being clean are one and two on your list then this is the place. Biggest downfall: Thin walls. Depending on who is sleeping next to your room you may have a snore-er or even worse a person that likes their volume on their T.V. at max. But believe me Katrina did NOT kill this hotel. Not bad for the price.

Go Somewhere Else
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/08/07
This hotel, despite it's title of, "Always clean & friendly", is anything but. The isn't a regular cleaning service, to my surprise, and knowing that one would think the hotel would give you CLEAN towels, sheets and any other amenity one would expect. The towels were stained, there was a dirty, used toilet roll in the bathroom and the room smelled terribly. Also, the area didn't feel safe. During the night there were many police visits in the parking lot. The only good thing was the free wireless internet, but I can get that at many local coffee shops. Find another place to stay.

Find another hotel
By A Yahoo! User, 12/29/06
This hotel may have been a good value per Katrina. But in a post Katrina world this hotel is filthly and poorly maintained. Lightbulbs were missing. The non smoking room smelled of smoke. Towels were stained and had burn marks. Extra toilet paper roll was wet and discollored.
