Wonderful Overnight Stay

We went to Leola Village because friends we have travel to the area, like we do, to visit Site and Sound theatre, go for Antique Extravaganzas in the area and shop the outlets, and they stayed at Leola Village and loved it. Our first impression was of the beautiful property, well maintained and full of Spring! The staff was great and showed us to our room which was in the re-done barn. The room was decorated so beautifully and the design of the room was interestingly different. The bathroom was up some stairs and had a huge tub/whirlpool with a large rainshower showerhead above. What a treat! The beds were comfortable, linens were beautiful. Mazzi Restaurant on the hotel grounds has a nice bar area where we had a cocktail before heading out (meeting friends for dinner). The Inn also had a wonderful breakfast in the morning.
This Inn is off the beaten path and that's one of the things we liked so much about it. There are lots of hotels to choose from either in town or in the outlet area on Route 30 - but NONE of them are like this great "getaway" place. It was probably 5-10 minutes from other places we stayed in the past and so much more like a vacation, rather than a place to stay overnight. We really just loved it and will go back!!
