Beautiful park, bit cleveland oak canopys for many of the rv sites.
It's when you stay for more than a couple of days the problems begin!! Major complaint is the mosquito infestation!! I talked to the park manager, Mr.
Brown, who indicated there was nothing he could do. I then talked to the owner, Johnny Bowen, who reported Mr. Brown had several items to help control the problem in the storage building and in fact last year had called the county for help. I then called the county for help, but upon investigation, they were informed by Mr; Browmn that their assistance was not needed.
Next problem, mole trails. The campsites are infested with mole trails. Again if you expect the management to assist with this, not going to happen!!!
Biggest problem - Mr. Brown - the manager!! He is on such a power trip, his white panama hat cannot hold it in!! If you don't do as he wants, he will find a way to get back at you - however childish he will find a way!
Again, this is a beautiful park and has great potential to be an actual resort, but it needs some park management insistent upon park management, not on his own ego!! Best of luck for the future, but cannot recommend it for long term residence.
I've been here since June 09 and as far as I can tell, this is the best RV park around. It is by far the cleanest and best looking place. The owner is especially friendly and willing to help in every way. There are lots of trees for shade and the grounds are very well kept. Whether you're looking for something long term or just a few nights, you can't go wrong at Johnny's RV Resort.
The place looks great when you drive through, but there are better run parks with better access to local activities then Johnny’s RV Resort. First off, it’s not really a resort! Those that RV will be disappointed by what the name implies. Some of the things I did find at the park where; the grass in the yards were covered with stone, red ants everywhere cockroaches in the bath room and an expensive bill for the fumigation of my brand new coach. Anything the owner tells you he will do, forget it. This is Just a poorly run park,
