Description
This is a comfortable, western-style hotel located in the hot spring enclave of Aone. The rooms are bright, clean and airy and well-equipped. Aone Onsen is situated on a mountain plateau and was discovered in 1528. It attained a popularity that has lasted. There are separate bathing facilities for men and women with he indoor men's and women's baths in spacious porcelain pools. The outdoor, open-air baths are in large rock lined tubs. The water is simple thermal and is used to treat arthritis, rheumatism, aching limbs, irritated skin, and nervous stress. The food is excellent.
