Description
Takahan Ryokan is a modern hotel in the resort of Echigo Yuzawa. The onsen is located high in the Mikuni Mountain Range. The hot spring water is classified as simple thermal and is good for high blood pressure, sluggish blood, rheumatism, neuralgia, and nervous disorders. This is also a ski resort, and in the winter the local custom is to bathe in the hot spring in between skiing and sake drinking. Takahan Ryokan encourages its guests to observe the local custom in its oval tile tubs. In addition to relaxing baths, it offers its guests marvelous food.
