Yoshino Onsen is a hot spring with a long, colorful history and famous for its cherry blossoms. It has been in use since the 8th century. Today it is still very popular, especially in Cherry Blossom season. The inn has sunken fireplaces in the downstairs rooms, winding corridors, and a lovely garden. The guestrooms are Japanese-style. Yoshino Onsen Motoyu has separate men's and women's bathing facilities. The indoor baths are wooden and outside are two landscaped pools. The water is classified as carbon-dioxated with iron and is used to treat surface wounds, anemia, aches, pains and fatigue.
