Morongo Casino Resort And Spa, Cabazon

I got horrible food poisoning from eating at Bamboo. What was worse is the staff was not responsive and clearly did not care. Also, a few weeks ago some friends ate at the Morongo buffet and four of them suffered from food poisoning. Morongo has a big problem and I don't think they are doing anything to address it. I wonder who actually regulates their food and beverage? Also, the pool was one of the reasons we chose this hotel and it wasn't even heated. When we brought it to the front desk staff's attention they basically called us liars and said it was heated to 85 degrees. This was after we had talked to maintenance staff at the pool who told us that they were having difficulting with the heater because it kept shutting off. Again, what was frustrating is the way we were treated by the staff and their complete deniel of our issues with the hotel.

Driving down the 10 freeway you all of a sudden see this magestic tower with bright lights on the roof that have your in awe. Stepping inside of Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is like being in Las Vegas. The casino has the latest slot machines which are loose and they give you 10X cash back. Once you understand the value of that offer you are always going to pay at MCRS. The food venues are awsome. Ceilo on the 27th floor is equal to any fine dining room in Vegas. The room, the pool and the guest service is excellent. Though smoking is allowed throughout the casino it is quickly filtered out. Will be returning to Morongo Casinor Resort & Spa. Telling all of my friends about this oasis in the desert.

The place seems like it has it all, good location, nice pool, well appointed rooms but do not even THINK of going here if you have any sensitivity to smoke. I can't believe how terribl it was. We had a party of 8 and we are some pretty hard-core travelers and we all agreed that is was impossible to enjoy yourself. We stayed one night and ate at the buffet and without drinks it costs us $300 for the night. Unlike normal casinos there is no "non-smoking section" they just group 5-6 slots together and call it "non-smoking" however you are sitting RIGHT NEXT to 100's of smokers. I'm not against smokers at all and, again, most casinos do a great job of separating non-from-heavy. It took all the fun out of the trip. I can't believe people had their kids with them and the elderly were sucking all that air in. The filter system is a waste don't believe what they say. It's such a shame because it would be so easy to alter. Pachanga and Sombora (nsc) are MUCH better. I can't imagine what it's like when it's really busy! Ugh!

I definitely liked everything about this resort! From the time I walked through the door, I experienced nothing but superb service! I dined at the Cielo, which recently updated their menu, and the Portrero Canyon Buffet, and the food was delicious! Also, I enjoyed a Swedish massage and body wrap, and it was amazing! And if you want to do any shopping or golf or experience a few tourist attractions, they are all within driving distance of the Morongo. I had a wonderful time, and I hope to be able to return soon!

I like the most friendly service in all levels, a job well done in training emloyees all aspects of work ethics,I travel a lot for business reasons, been in Vegas numerous times and always seem to come back to Morongo! Keep up the fine work,my father in law is addicted to your machines, he keeps hoping one of these days he'll hit the big one, GO FIGURE.

Awesome room with a great buffet and pool. Have not been to the club but i've walked by and it seamed good. The Pool is one of the best and the card room is a little small but good variety

I loved the service and the many places to eat! The kids just loved the lazy river at the pool. There is so much to do - spa treatments, night clubs for dancin', and of course - slot machines! We really like the close by outlet shopping - and just a hop to sunny Palm Springs if we wanted to get away...LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

Club Vibe inside the resort was enjoyable. Bartenders are great, atmosphere is nice. However, the security does not know how to handle an incident if their lives depended on it. I was hit in the face, for sitting on "someones couch" there, and security kicks me out for it. There are no seats that people can reserve unless they get their own room. Which I was not in. I had sat on an empty seat and 2 big girls hassled me for it. I am 5'2" and 100lbs so I knew I wouldnt win a fight w/ them, nor am I the fighting type. As soon as I could blink, I was wacked with a corner of a purse, my nose swollen and big red scratches where the zipper hit me. Security ran over only when my boyfriend stood up and tried to protect me from the girls smothering me. Not only was I kicked out of the club, I am no longer able to go back there for a year. Not that I ever want to go back again. They treated me as if I was to blame for this and kept me singled out from everyone. Never did they ask what happened, nor did they get the other girls out of the club for what they did. I wasnt able to use a phone, and they never got the cops like i had asked. We were in the middle of nowhere so they knew they could get away with it. I was treated very unfairly and my only advice to anyone who goes into club Vibe is stay away from the big girls because there is obviously somekind of friendship going on with them and the service officers.

The Casino/resort was clean and really convenient. The Casino filtered the air well enough that the smoking was not mind-bending. The room was great and the lazy river was the best. We loved being there, and will return.

I love that it is not congested and stale smelling like most casinos. We go there very often to get away from the hustle of L.A. life. Love the Spa and pool and rooms... very clean and romantic... We have and will return again and again. Keep up the good work.
