Coronado Island Inn, Coronado

My family from across the nation recently stayed at this Hotel for my daughters wedding. The hot water heater went out, so cold showers after a day in the California sun, when the staff was advised of the problem, they treated us with disrespect and basiclly called us liers looking for a free room. They even went as far as to raise the price of the rooms and threating to lock us out and call the police. I took pictures of the newly installed water heater and found that the vents were not hooked up according to Code, which created both a fire hazard and a life safety/health hazard. This by far was the worst experience I have ever had at a Hotel. These people would rather treat people like crap and cause an hostle enviorment, instead of stating that we are sorry the water heater went out and do the right thing. I don't go around looking for free rooms and that was not our intention, we just wanted a hot shower for the kids after a day on the beach. I am glade that this did not effect the wedding, it went off prefectly.

I checked all reviews on the hotels in coronado and found the same person putting bad reviews on a few of the hotels from this same person. So I was lokking for something not expensive so thought I would try this hotel. I got a free continental breakfast,free parking,free wireless, and a pool at the other property all for $99.99. The only thing is it is on a busy street. I would come back again and stay here or there other property coronado inn across the street.
