Best Point Hotel, Istanbul

Very helpful and friendly staff. Nothing seemed to be a problem. Had an excellent stay. We booked a standard room but because of recent surgery causing my wife some walking difficulties, a delux ground floor room was offered on arrival without hesitation. Advice on where to go and restraurant recommendations was readily given. I would definitely recommend the hotel. The location is good for site seeing in the old city. Good eating places nearby

Having worked over a decade in luxury hotels in USA, I have acquired a distinctive eye for hotels that are unrated-best kept secrets. Best Point Hotel is a first class boutique hotel that surpassed my expectations. The rooms were clean and the decor was modern. It is rare to find hotel staff that is customer service oriented and can handle business in an orderly and professional manner. No matter what question we asked, the staff was willing to assist with our travel plans. The staff was professional and ascertained that guest inquiries were not only addressed, but went beyond the call of duty to get answers promptly.The hotel staff was very knowledgeable of the city, sites, restaurants and other businesses, and every request we made was granted with a smile! It was such a delight to get straight answers without hesitation and pretense. The hotel is situated in a great location near the major sites in the old town and only a few blocks from restaurant row. The staff also made reservations for us to tour other sites and arranged transportation to and from the airport for a reasonable rate. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers who desire first class customer service, and want to feel welcomed!

This was a great location for us, with panaramic views of the Blue Mosque and the Sea, which is where we wanted to be. After a very filling buffet, breakfast all the great places to visit are a walking distance away or if you fancy a tram away for 2.00 Tlr. Fatih the owner was a great host and interacts with all his guests as do all the other staff who are always willing to help or guide you with any questions you have.The hotel can arrange tours for you and once agreed you can guarantee it will be done . Rooms were beautiful and cosy and my family felt at home , thank you to all at Best Point , would happily recommend it to family / friends and all other readers...Yakoob & Family , UK

My stay in best point hotel was with no regrets. Everything from the day i checked in till the day i checked out was perfect. All staff were polite and extremely helpful especially the owner Mr Fatih. He gave us valuable information on where to eat, where to shop where to visit and he was very hospitable...The hotel itself was in an excellent location within a stone's throw away from all the historical sites and there was so many cafes and restaurants around.This hotel is definately highly recommended....

Back home... Just want to thank all the staff for being so nice with us all this week. We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful hotel and we only hope to come back soon... Inchallah !

Nice reception, family atmosphere. Very effective and warm staff. Breakfast very well furnished sideboard(buffet), damage that the orange juice (fresh) is in supplement. Room and equipments, for what concerns us, without any problem. Attractive point of view since the terrace. This establishment, situated well in the old town, corresponded in all respects to the fact that we look for.

This Hotel is not only situated in the best location for sightseeing in Istanbul, but Fatih and his fantastic staff, made our 4 night stay one of the best hotel experiences we have had. I just returned from a 3 weeks vacation in Istanbul where I stayed at best point hotel with my daughter and sister. I was in a beautiful city, which was made more enjoyable by the hotel I chose. Wow!! so many things to talk about, I will try not to forget anything. Before choosing this hotel I read as anybody else the reviews on trip advisor. Based on the reviews and the constant communication with Fatih the owner who was prompt in answering all my emails and providing me with all the explanations, I ended choosing best point. Since the moment I steppedin I knew Imade the right decision,the checking in was fast with no complications nor surprises, the rapidly took us to our room taking into consideration that we were tired and coming out of a more than 22 hours trip. That was highly appreciated because at that moment all I was dreaming of was a shower and a bed. the rooms are nicely decorated in neutral and relaxing colors,spotless with a beautiful view to the blue mosque. Most of all, from someone who sustained major back surgery,and suffers of chronic back pain, the mattress quality was highly appreciated because throughout my stay I was pain free. I can only thank Fatih for not ignoring the comfort part. The location was the best near to major sites. The view of the blue mosque and Marmara sea on both sides from the Terrance was breathtaking. The breakfast was beyond expectations! from freshly baked cookies and cakes to numerous home made jellies to various flavors of tea, omelets freshly cooked upon request, olives, cheeses, and fruits ect...you can never deh the high quality of the breakfast in this hotel. The service was impeccable, their hospitality was overwhelming everyone made us feel at home. Everything I wrote so far was for the readers who choose a hotel based on the reviews just like me. Now I am going to talk about the friends I made at best point hotel. Friends who helped me to fully enjoy the city, they gave me tips on how to get around in this big Istanbul and discover new places. Friends who touched me in so many ways, I don't think I would ever find a more beautiful and hospitable people. Thank you to all the staff one by one,thank you to Fatih for all the help and accommodation. I will recommend this hotel to every person I know going to Istanbul. I am most definitely going back to visit my friends.

I booked this hotel through the Internet after I read the reviews, after I booked the hotel I have contacted the hotel email to make sure of my booking and to gather more information regarding the hotel such as wireless accessibility and shuttle from the airport, I got a prompt answer from the hotel owner Mr. Fatih and he answered all of my emails. Our flight has arrived Istanbul 8:30 in the morning and after we got to the hotel, Mr. Fatih has welcomed us, offered us a drink and a breakfast which we've done at the top floor terrace, the view from the hotel terrace is Amazing ( Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and the sea from two sides), this was very refreshing, after we have finished our breakfast we received our room which was a great gesture from the hotel. the room was very clean and well decorated, it is the same size as the room we got in Paris last year so it's size is normal in old city of Istanbul. After we have rested in the room we asked Mr. Fatih advice for touring in Istanbul, and he helped us to organize our four and half days stay, I must say that his advices were very helpful, for example he advised us not to buy from the Grand bazaar because the prices are too high and instead buy from Istiklal street (Takseem Square), and after we bought from the Grand bazaar we realized that he was correct. I must mention here the great location of the hotel, it is very close to all important historical sights in Istanbul such as the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Topkapi palace, all were a walking distance from the hotel in addition to Sultanahmet Tram station which is near Aya Sofia. This is very convenient because even if you don't know where to go or if you just want to hang out, you can walk to the park near Aya Sofia and the Blue mosque and enjoy the fountain and all people from all of the world going there. Istanbul is a very beautiful city, people are very polite and helpful (although their English is not perfect), also the city is very clean, it's topography is very convenient, the sea is everywhere and the city hills are full of historical mosques that you can see from everywhere. If you like just to walk and blend with locals you must go to Taksim square, Ortakoy (to eat Kumpere) and if you want to enjoy the Bosphore in addition to silence walk you can go to Bebek and walk besides the see, enjoy a cup of tea and the beautiful houses in this rich neighbourhood. At all, our stay at the hotel was Excellent and we liked Istanbul.

Best Point is a perfect hotel for those who want a charming, friendly place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable, the staff is amazing; they cater to all your needs. The location is also perfect, just below the major sites and the tram that can take you to just about anywhere you would want to go. Breakfast is wonderful and you can choose to eat up on the terrace in the morning and watch the ships go up and down the Bosporus. Warm and cozy are the only words that do this place justice.
