Reluctant to reveal how wonderful the experience!

I'm reluctant to reveal to the world, what a wonderful experience we had in Cuenca, most of which we attribute to our hosts at Casa Ordonez; afraid that it will be fully booked when we plan our next visit.
The renovation and conversion of this marvelous home into a botuque hotel is a model for others, preserving the charm of old with modern conveniences of today. It is centrally located, within walking distance of most of Cuenca's attractions and fine restaurants. If you don't like walking, the taxis are plentiful and inexpensive. Our room, as well as all the common spaces, were immaculate and comfortable, with fresh flowers in our room.
But it was the service that made staying here such an enjoyable experience. Alberto and Inez (grandchildren of the original owner), and their staff, went out of their way to make us comfortable during our stay. Our every request, no matter how small, was met or exceeded with such kindness that I became teary-eyed on more than one occassion. That's something I have never experience before in a hotel or other accommodation!
Their recommendations for restaurants, based on our input regarding our tastes, were superb. Not only was the food excellent in each of the restaurants we visited, the ambiance and service were equally superb.
When we asked about the best way to visit the Incan ruins at Ingapirca, Alberto suggested and arranged a car with driver, whose english was as good as Alberto's, and who was also attentive to our wishes, taking us through small towns and side roads enroute, so that we could experience the rural towns and countryside along-side the indegenious people, in addition to the ruins.
We will return to Cuenca and Casa Ordonez!
