Hotel Riu Palace Las Americas, Cancun

Have been to Cancun 12x and have stayed at this particular resort 6 times. Really a great resort. NOT ONE NEGATIVE THING TO SAY!!

HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT, VERY CLEAN, CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS SUPER, OCEAN WAS BREATHTAKING, 5 MIN WALKING TO SHOPS, CLUBS (COCO BANGO) BARS, BUS TRANSP. IS CHEAP AND EZ IF U WANT TO SAVE $ ON TAXI. THIS IS OUR 5 RIU HOTEL STAY & EVERY TIME IT GETS BETTER. GREAT LOCATION AND 15-20MIN FROM AIRPORT. WE STAY 7NIGHTS AND 8 DAYS AND HADE A BLAST TIME. RIU LAS AMERICAS IS #1 (Glendale, Ca.)

Very clean..beautiful infiniti pools..hotel staff very friendly..food was great with plenty of variety..one benefit of staying at the riu all inclusive is that you can also visit the other riu resorts (riu cancun next door) and have breakfast/lunch there..dinner the restaurants require reservations at least a day in advance, only 2 seatings so head to customer service to make your reservations right after you check in...if that's not your cup of tea the buffet is 24hrs...lots of activities provided..water sports, shows, etc...would def recommend this place to family and friends..bus transportation is located next door right in front of riu cancun and will take you all around cancun for just 7.50 pesos or like $.75 cents per way..shopping across the street and there are additional vendors within walking distance..

OMg!!This hotel was amazing!The staff is sooo nice, the food was amazing, and the beach and pools were soooo nice! It was a beatiful place and for the price it is an incredible deal if ur looking for a vacation this is the place to go and this hotel to stay! ;-)

This hotel was the best we've stayed at. It was our fifth visit, and nothing compared. Riu Cancun, next door, is second to it. The food, atmosphere, rooms, staff, visitors, all were fantastic.

This place was absolutely beautiful! I almost cam to tears!!! This was my first time in Mexico and I did not have any complaints. The sataff was soooo polite and friendly. They really go out of they're way to go above and beyond. THe room was very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony was amazing right over the infinity pool. The pictures really do not do this place justice. They resteraunts were very good as well. I recommend this hotel to everyone!!! Cant wait to go back!!!

I liked this hotel. That said, its not perfect. Mexicois not perfect. If you look for flaws you will find them. If you go in looking for a good time, you will find it. Its frankly almost impossible not to have a good time in Cancun. Those who say "its not Mexico" are wrong- this IS Mexico. Its not TJ type Mexico, its modern Mexico with Mexico' s best offerings. One of the best places I know of to have fun . Word.

Food was great, ocean view great, except the balcony,s are tooooo small.No room to lay out at night or sit to enjoy the ocean view .The People that work at the front desk and at the concare desk need to take people skills they are flat rude.I would not go back again.We dont mind spending good money for professional staff and service.you will not get that at the RUI

My Wife and I went for our Honeymoon and had an Incredible time. The Hotel Staff is great. Make reservations for Restaurants the day you get there as they get filled fast. We loved the Japanese Restaurant the best. The buffett is really good too. There is a mini mall across the street from the RUI next door and it had good shopping. If you go in the restrooms near the spa, becareful as my wife got locked in the shower stall and a maid had to get her out. ha ha . We laughed about it. If you are looking for a excursion, the Lobster Dinner Cruise is incredible and is worth every penny of the $75 dolalrs. It was so romantic.

The hotel was beyond beaufiful, luxurious, the food was great except brazialian, could not open the bedroom window for the great breeze, overall out of 5 stars I would rate this a 4.8 stars
