THE LOCATION IS GOOD. THE SERVICE IS O.K. THE PEOPLE THERE ARE NICE BUT THE BEDS LEAVE A LITTLE TO BE DESIRED. I THINK I WILL SPEND A FEW DOLLARS MORE NEXT TIME AND STAY AT THE HILTON

First and foremost, I DID NOT stay at the Anderson, SC Mainstay as planned due to PROBLEMS with my reservation. After driving 500+ miles to attend a Clemson University football game and arriving at the hotel at midnight on 9/14 (had advised that I would be arriving late), I was informed that my wife and I did not have a room. Luckily(?), your staff had located a room in the local "flea-bag", e.g. America's Best Value. Suffice it to say, that even though I've stayed at the Anderson Mainstay several times in the past while in the Clemson area, I will never again even consider a reservation at this or any other Mainstay Suites and will encourage my other Clemson friends and family to do the same. Please note that I also provided, with my reservation request, contact numbers, both home and cell phone, and was not contacted beforehand to advise me of any problems with my reservation.
