La Quinta Inn & Suites South Padre Beach, South Padre Island

I did not like anything about this hotel. Below you will find a list why: *Room was not clean when I checked into the hotel *The room that I was transferred to was dirty and the towel were grayed and worned *The hotel is dirty *You are charged fully price up-front before check-in

Personal items "went missing"!!! Management/staff not responsive to inquiries or concern about the situation. Rooms not cleaned until after 5pm each day there. On the beach location excellent for easy access=biggest plus.

the hotel is not bad but it can not have bears and owls on the balconys the balcony had tons of trash tere was mold on all of the balcony bars.

I loved it. The beds are very comfortable, big along with the pillows. Room services are very nice along with the people at the front desk. The only thing was that on the second floor it smelt like moist and humid. Maybe it was because people come in wet.? I loved it though and every year my family and i go to South Padre. Oh, breakfast was awesome!

LOVE THIS HOTEL ITS GREAT!!!! THOSE BAD REVIEW ARE FROM YEARS PAST I RESENTLY STAYED ON THIS PROPERTY THEY ARE VERY CLEAN, AND FRIENDLY. JOSIE AND ASTRID AT THE FRONT DESK WERE VERY KIND AND HELPFUL THE ROOMS EXPECTACULAR GREAT PARCIAL VIEW. THERE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST WAS GOOD EXECPT THAT THERE WAS THIS GIRL THAT HAD A MAD FACE IN BREAKFAST BUT OTHER THAN THAT EVERYTHING WAS GREAT I REALLY RECOMMED THIS HOTEL WHEN YOU VISIT SOUTH PADRE ISLAND YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

This hotel is great. I was very supprised because I have not been happy with other hotels. Great Costomer Service. Clean place. The room is more than just a bed. Very nice. I will return and that says a lot. They even have a person their that you can buy discount tickets from for events on the island.

okay i have been alot hotels and this hotel is the best fast internet,great view of the ocean, great service and best bed in the world if u ever come to south padre island stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites South Padre Beach Resort

I have stayed here every summer since this place opened...never again. First floor has a musty moldy smell. We get to our room (441) and the room smells realy bad and we discover why, the AC is leaking and the carpet is soaked. Hotel mgmt cleans the carpet but doesnt fix the AC. It continues to leak and smell and THEN the roaches. We saw plenty, I have photos. LQ mgmt moved us to a new room; during the move my wife's new iPhone disappeared from the room and only maintenance and housekeeping had entered the room. Find another hotel, do not stay at this one

Out the back door and your at the beach. Clean hotel nice decor. Housekeeping very accomadating though no one spoke English. Front desk staff friendly, but if something was needed know one knew how to locate as all where in training. We did have someone enter our room while we were gone 1st night and they knew we were out to dinner as they gave us directions on the way out the door. parking was inconvenient and they had a delivery semi block the whole circle drive so you had to back out going the wrong way if you needed out on the second day. Happy hour and free drink daily if the snack bar was open, no definite hours. Reason for poor service rating is after the stay we lost an item they acknoledged time's 2 employees it was there in the lost and found but office was locked. Asked them to mail it , had to call after 2 weeks and request again, again manager acknoledged it was there but to send it back to me might be $69.00, I requested them to mail it priority from post office was told they only send UPS or Fed-X. I had to call there corperate office to complain was then called by there general manager now the items missing. I'm in hope's the other manager had already mailed it. I would still stay again if charged the same rate.

My family and I love this hotel...it's location is just great right next to the beach!!!!....I really love staying here and will defintely stay here again this coming summer of 2009...you won't be disappointed if you decide to book this hotel...trust me it's worth the money that you pay!!!!!!!
