Mirific Hotel, Kissimmee

Rooms a bit rough and ready but you cannot beat the location. Far enough away from it all but close enough for a quick drive to whatever prk you want. Plenty of food within walking distance. Staff friendly, did not use the shuttle had a car which is essential in Florida. Would definately stay again.

Best price...location..friendly staff....gettting better with NEW ownership and Management...... liitle older property with some years of use showing but dont wwe all in age....

This is the most disgusting hotel room that I have ever seen. Mold and mildew growing on the walls and carpet. The smell was horrible. The microwave had rust around the seal. We opened the door, held our noses, examined the room, left our room key on the desk and never looked back. This was our "Free" room that we were given as part of a timeshare preview. Warning, DO NOT VISIT WESTGATE RESORTS. Our 90 minute timeshare lasted 7 hours. They do not take NO for an answer. Thank God we have family that live in Florida. We got our "Free" Disney tickets and we did not have to stay at the disgusting Polynesian Inn. The nicest part of the hotel is the outside and the pool.

You can't beat the price, you really just need a clean place to stay with clean rooms and pretty good service. I live in Florida and if you're from out of town and you're on a budget, this is your place. They even give you "FREE" Intercontinental breakfast, how can you beat that for $35.95 in the month of May of 2005.

From reading various other reviews of this hotel we were prepared for the worst. The hotel had been described as being dirty and smelly and the shuttle services were not rated high either. Our experiences, however, were very different. We stayed in the hotel for one week before flying home and found the room clean and comfortable with a coffee machine, iron/ironing board etc. The staff were friendly and the room was cleaned every day (unless we told them not to, obviously!) The breakfast in the morning is from 6:30ish to 9:00 and consists of a variety of bagels ad cream cheese etc. and a variety of cake bars, rice krispie squares and donuts. There is also free juice and coffee. Seeing as we like bagels and things like that, this breakfast was not bad. The pool was clean and open from 9am to 10pm (ish). There were also chairs to lie on etc. The shuttle services ran every morning at various times depending on the park you want to visit. SeaWorld/ Universal studios left at 8:20am and disney park shuttle ran at 8:35 or 11:20am. These were almost always on time and the drivers were friendly.
