TWICE IN ONE YEAR I HAD THE PLEASURE OF STAYING AT WYNDHAM GRAND DESERT RESORT AND THE STAY WAS GREAT. I TRAVEL TO VEGAS OFTEN AND THIS BY FAR WAS THE BEST PLACE I HAVE STAYED. WHETHER IT WAS WITH THE FAMILY OR WITH MY FIANCE, THE EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT.

The place was Great. But to wake up around 02 with high heel shoes walking from right to left 2 foot above the bed across both my wife and I was really crazy. My wife woke up at the same time I did and she heard it as clear as I did. Anyone who stays in that room would have to note that there is carpet everywhere except the bathroom. Also after the high heels the trash can in the bathroom moved twice. The knocking on the wall may have been from other things but before going to bed the room it was absolutely quiet. Loved the service. Room was absolutely quiet and clean, very very nice. both my wife and I can not explain what we heard. Looking forward to our next stay.

I hated it there. I heard ghost noises everywhere. The ants ate all my nasty hotel food when I wasn't looking! There were cockroaches too, they were mean, nasty, and wouldn't die.

Everything at this hotel is beautiful. You couldn’t expect any more from a resort in the California area. However, what happened to our family, has discouraged us from ever going there again. Since we could not cool the room off, we called maintenance. For some reason, the very nice maintenance man was trying to get us to leave our room. Because we did not leave, we watched him try to remove the air filter from the heating/cooling unit. He had a tough time because it was so filthy and clogged with dirt and debris that he couldn’t remove it. We asked him if we could keep it to show a supervisor but he said it was hotel property and he took it with him. We called the desk and asked for a supervisor to come up. We waited over 2 hours and called again. We were told the supervisor had gone home and there was no one on duty at the time. When we checked out, the next morning, we told the front desk about the situation and they said they would look into it. We asked if someone could get back to us about this situation, but no one ever did. It’s a shame because it is a every nice place but it is bad on children especially ones with asthma.

We come to Las Vegas every year for the WPPI Photographer's Convention. The accomodations are great, it's convenient to the hotel where the convention is held (MGM). We can walk back and forth from the room to the convention. Look forward to staying here each year, this makes 3 years straight. Glad to be a Wyndham Timeshare Owner.

Our APPLE MAC BOOK PRO 17 disappeared between the limo and the next day in our room. Our bags were in the care of the resort staff for 37 mins giving ample time to inventory the contents. This was the only time our bags were out of our sight. We were told by security that the police would not come out for a thief under $2500.00. Ours was $2259.00 and to file a report we would have to go to the police on our own. The police department is located at City Hall, a $50.00 round trip cab ride. THANKS WYNDHAM. Upon filing the police report we were informed that they would have come out for $200.00 and Wyndham was trying to protect their image. They could have processed the crime scene and reviewed the resort videos to make a REAL attempt at solving the crime. After being misinformed by WYNDHAM security and MANAGEMENT we no longer have any faith in the company we have been owners with for more than 7 years. We feel betrayed and let down. NOW THAT'S SAD!!! The right things could have been done to keep us as HAPPY OWNERS and WYNDHAM AMBASSADORS but, they went the other way with falsehoods and untruths. We are in a LOSE LOSE situation we own and to get a ROI we must continue to stay at WYNDHAM resorts. We have stayed at many other WYNDHAM resorts over the years with FANTASTIC memories but, this stay has almost done us in....

We stayed as a group of four -- we really liked the location: very convenient, yet off the strip so you can relax. It was close enough to walk but the shuttle worked out well too.The shuttle is fantastic, very convenient and goes until 2:00 a.m. YEAH! We stayed a week -- really liked the stocked kitchen so we could prepare our own meals when desired and save some $$ on drinks, breakfast, etc. We also liked the fact that there was in suite laundry. The pool and hot tub were just great Friendly, helpful service and staff -- our consierge arranged a bus trip to Hoover Dam, which we really enjoyed. A+++++ in every way. We would definitely stay here again if the location fits our needs.

Ive been reading the review of the family that stayed at this property by using thier Hilton timshare points. My wife and I felt the review was written from someone from Hilton Corp,(negative prop) We have Hilton ownership,....and if Hilton was half as nice as this place was for our stay we would have not booked here. Wish I could dump my Hilton crap and go to more places like the Grand Desert.

My wife and I had a 2 bdrm presidential suite on the top floor of tower three, the view was of the airport. Like the other review by "Not impressed" the decor was dated and worn and the pool only had sun for a few hours. It was nice to be able to get away from the rat race of the strip and relax. The rooms were clean but really nothing great.
