Wyndham Cypress Palms, Kissimmee

The one bedrooms are not well located with no view if you are staying longer than a week. The people are very friendly, the grounds well kept and beautiful and the pools are nice. We booked last winter and asked for a room with a view since we are using the condo as an apartment rather than a hotel. I stare out at a bush. Our refrigerator started making ice after taping it a little. The bedroom is spacious with plenty of storage and the bed is very comfortable with clean bedding. However, unless you are spending a lot of time away from the condo, I would not recommend it otherwise for an apartment dwelling. I recommend you stay at RCI if you want a spacious one bedroom with a view and balcony. We were at the Kiss. RCI last year and wish we'd gone there again this year. We will not come here again. They cater to the large suite people, but not a couple who is saving points. A lot of activities for children.

Our room looked nice at first glance, but then my 2yr old dropped a freshly washed grape on the carpet, and picked it up with hairballs / dust attached! On closer inspection the room had been cleaned with poor attention to detail. Our feet were BLACK after going on the concrete patio, clearly never been done. I complained and they sent in a cleaning crew the next day, whom shampooed the carpets and painted the patio (didn't clean it!) So for the whole week we had to deal with damp carpets (very humid days=slow drying carpets!!) but at least clean! and paint fumes! They sent a letter to apologise with some popcorn and orios and the like - err..... thanks! Midweek routine cleaning they didn't even vacuum! On top of that the check in staff were very rude... a guy Bek deserves to be fired! On the plus side, it was close to Disney and Seaworld which is why we chose it. Very accessible and easy with kids. Nice pool / hot-tub, although a bit too hot!

We reserved 2 of the 2 bedroom condos and when we arrived it only took about 5 minutes to check-in, everything was ready upon arrival. The rooms were beautiful and perfect for our group of 11 family members. We will visit this location again in the future. Highly recommend this Resort, very close to Disney World and Universal Studios.

When I first went to this hotel it was amazing the grass was really green the service was nice they didn't bother you unless you needed something! The location was easy if i was you i would go here no matter what.The cost wasn't so much it was worth are time and money. My kids just loved the pool and i really enjoyed the hot tub it was really relaxing if you were stressed you should go there and used there hot tub. My last thing to say that if i was you i would go here when ever you went on a travel vaction!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit with our 4 kid and Grandma. It was clean and spacious,, the pools were warm and the hot tubs hot!! Everyday there was activities for the kids,... crafts, and snacks to make,, movies to watch. Also all day long there is free hot drinks and cookies/danishes for adults and popcorn for the kids and a big play room. It was the ultimate vacation for us and we would definately go back!! Can't understand why this resort isn't rated gold... it is better than some gold ones we've stayed at!

We stayed at the Cyprus Palms resort in Kissimmee, Florida and absolutely loved the resort. The resort was beautifully landscaped with palm trees, flowers, a water feature by a bridge, and a green lawn. The best part of our stay at the resort was that feeling of being at home. We had our own kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine, dryer, and washing machine. The rooms were immaculate the air conditioning worked great. The pool and hot tub were great and we spent alot of time after Disney Resorts and Seaworld. We watched a movie from the pool one night. Resort was really quiet and we were not disturbed by other guests or staff. Only issue we had was is our tv and our iron didn't work, but maintenance was very attentative and fixed our problem within 30 minutes. Only one computer which was very slow. Front desk staff not very friendly and tried to stay out of their way, but other than that, I highly recommend this resort for families. Resort really close to Disney Resorts, Universal Studios, Sea World and of course Walmart! The Chilli's was terrible as far as service-don't waste your time. The Pizza Hut, IHOP, and Olice Garden was excellent. Red Lobster and the McDolnalds service was also terrible. Try to shop at Walmart before 6 p.m. I hope this review was helpful to someone. We had a great time and I hope you will too.

We (2 adults,1 grandchild) stayed there Oct 7-13 2007. Place was very clean, plenty of room (1 bed room deluxe)Great pool. Great couch. Stove was kind of quirky and leaned to one side. Kitchen laid out kind of goofy but we got by. Limited pots and pans. Elevator was slow and very hot. Only had 1 set of towels and dishes (set up for 4) but we kept them washed up. Super location, minutes from any Disney attraction as well as the attractions on 192. Easy to get in and out of. Easy to reach from the airport. Plenty of parking. I told the staff when I checked in that there was no way that I was going to any meeting/survey and to not even ask. I was never contacted once. Air conditioner kept room super cool the way I like it. I stayed at Star Island last June and this place is much nicer. Newman

The only thing that we found distasteful about the resort was the amount of time dirty laundry and garbage sat out on the walkways sometimes. It would sit there overnite we noticed several times and we didn't know why. Overall, it was a great place to go, very convenient to everything and you could walk to restaurants,a drug store, donut shop and many other places. The activities were great for the kids. We really enjoyed the wine and cheese party. I thought it was a very nice resort and well staffed and all of the staff was very congeniel and willing to assist in any way to make your stay a pleasant one. We will definitely go back. We found the one bedroom unit with a full kitchen very roomy and enjoyed the screened patio and the privacy of a beautiful park like view. There were two pools and never were crowded even though we were there on the Labor Day weekend. It was number one on our list for sure!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo August 26-Sept. 2 2007. This was a beautiful resort. It had all the ammenities you could ask for...2 pools, hot tubs, activity center, playground, full kitchen, screened in balcony, grills (near the pools), beautifully landscaped grounds, and washer/dryer. The unit itself was very clean (except for under the couch, where we found a few food items that were not ours--fruit loops, watermelon seeds) and comfortable and tastefully decorated (yellows with bright accents). We had 4 adults and 2 young children and we had plenty of room. The grandparents stayed in the larger of the two rooms with the king bed to give them more privacy and we stayed with our two kids in the smaller, but efficiently sized room with 2 dbl beds. Perfect situation for us--beds were comfortable too--looked like new mattresses. We were able to eat most meals at the room to save money. The hotel is centrally located to all the major theme parks and has 4 or 5 major restaurant chains within walking distance--Chilis, Macaroni Grill, Cracker Barrel, Pizzaria Uno, Krispy Kreme. I would definitely return here and I would recommend it to any of my friends or family.

This place was terrible, very dirty, and i will never go there again. i went here with my 2 teenage boys and my wife. I suggest the Hyatt in Orlando . THat hotel was great!
