A experience
By ,
I would like to get some sort of compensation for my boyfriend for the weekend we where there. I had left the cabanna and fell in a puddle of water ckose to the door of the hotel going to get my boyfriend Michael d'Entremont, we were in room 220 10th floor. We were there from the 27th of April to that Monday. We stayed the extra nite as I was in bed with a frctured foot. I did not file a report but I have been advised by many I should file something here in Canada as something should have been posted on these walkways about the danger of water on them. I was not swimming I had just landed hrs before and was out for a wal to explore the rest of the grounds. My boyfriend was in the room doing business. He is from Calgary Alberta, myself from Halifax Nova scotia Sandra Hicks

planned our wedding here renting 5 rooms, to all be on the same floor and 2 of the 5 ajoining, upon check in all the rooms were on different floors and none ajoining! Because one of our guests had already checked in we could not have any of our reservations for rooms moved they did not accomidate us at all... we will never stay here again!

Horrible Customer Service at THE HOTEL
By ,
We had the worst experience of our lives this year with the hotel situation. First of all, every year my friend has a Company Christmas trip to Las Vegas. I go with her every year and it was horrible! We had reserved over 15 rooms, which included 5 suites. The power went out at The Hotel so we were switched over to the Mandalay Bay regular room. We were unhappy that it was a smaller room and we ended up switching to The Hotel when the power came back up. The thing is, we had reserved a room with 2 Queens and they gave us a King sized bed! We called to tell them the situation and the manager, SYLVIA, was the rudest manager that I had ever spoken to. She said she couldn't do anything about it and that we'd have to stay in that room and that they had no rooms with 2 queens available. She was not even apologetic that this situation had occurred. By this time, I was angry at the principle of the situation. We were so upset we went to the Mandalay Bay Hotel and spoke to the manager over there, Brian. He was very nice and accomodating to our concern. He gave us a 2 Queen right away and had the Bell Desk move our things right away. It just really upset me that Sylvia would say they didn't have anything, but Brian gave us a room right away! Just know that management at The Hotel is not very nice!

Never Again!!!
By ,
Six women from Ohio and Florida stayed here 5/3 thru 5/7 to celebrate Mother's Day. Expected more for the price and 5 star rating. The front desk staff were unfriendly and poorly informed. I made three trips to the front desk and had to wait at least 15 minutes each time when only two to four people were in line. There was no bell hop available upon check in without a wait. The rooms were spacious but not very clean. Adequate towels and robes were not provided for the number of room occupants. Beds were uncomfortable, pillows were hard and lumpy and linens were old and scratchy. We had to wait three days just to have burned out lightbulbs replaced. The pool was overcrowded with too few chairs for guests. The pool was out of towels on a Saturday morning!! We definitely recommend staying somewhere else!

Very accomodating and great value!
By ,
Just returned from staying there. Stayed 3 nights and when we checked in they had a great deal with the 3rd night free and a free upgrade to a suite, if available. Well we were suppose to check in to the Mandalay Bay but they had no suites available and offered us a free upgrade to a suite at THEhotel. It was terrific! 2 rooms, 3 TVs and 2 bathrooms all for $218 including tax!!

THE HOTEL was great but
By ,
Didnt care for the way they handle comps. Stayed five nights, two were comp. Played lost about $1500 they said I didnt play enough to cover some lunches and dinner, about 200 bucks. Not crying but normally they save you a few bucks, but they said they already comp me two free nights dont forget. HAHA didnt work that way at Mirage year before. Kind of disappointed in the way they handled it, like I didnt lose enough, but my house is more important than the casinos bottom line. Should have blown another $1000 bucks maybe I would have gotten 50 bucks back or so. LOL

Service is horrible
By ,
TheHotel is beautiful, but the service is horrible. We tried to call the front desk when we first got to the room because there were no robes in the room, but a note that said if they were missing, we would be charged. It took forever for someone to answer the phone. Then they acted like we were annoying them. The next day, the maid took our robes so we had to call again. There were also people in the casino area trying to sell us stuff. Really annoying. We have stayed at Bellagio and the Venetian, and they were both better. Next time we are staying at the Palazzo.
