The Hotel at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas

Arrived in my room and the garbage cans were not emptied from the previous occupants. The linens were uncomfortable and there was no hot water in the morning when it came time to take a shower. Rooms are very dark. Definitely a huge disappointment and not worth the $.

we just left TheHotel last week. if you bought a bottle at eye candy, it was because you wanted to! you only have to buy a bottle if you wanted the little tables with the curtains to play the game on the tables. if you wanted cheaper water, you could have went to walgreens and got ice from machine. we were upgraded to TheHotel at no extra chg and it was wonderful. got partial strip view first night, then asked to move and got pool view. it was awsome! yes the mini bar is expensive, so dont eat anything from there. we ate at the mix atop hotel and it was pricey but wonderful!!! anything you buy or eat in vegas is because you are in vegas!!

Big room, nice looking. No coffee pot, mini bar refrigerator. Couldn't take anyhting out without getting charged. Had some leftover food and no place to put it. The tap water tasted like sewage water and bottled water was around $8. Got violently ill after eating at Lupo. Told them and they said it wasn;t their problem. Had to buy a bottle to get at seat at Eye Candy, the central casino bar. Didn't mind buying bottle but they charged $320 for a bottle of Jack Danield. OMG, that is $50 normally. Waited 20 minutes to eat breakfast in an empty restaurant. Got served the wrong food 3 times in different restaurants. Service staff were arrogant and rude. Beautiful scenery but bad underneath.

My girlfriend and I just left “The Hotel” because our room got broken into last night and we were robbed. My girlfriend was tired so she decided to go to sleep early. I decided to go to the bar for a drink. Someone was able to enter our room while my girlfriend was sleeping and started going through her purse. She woke up during the robbery and thought it was me so she rolled over and started to go back to sleep. When robber heard her roll over in bed he or she dropped to the floor and crawled to the opposite end of the room. My girlfriend lied there paralyzed with fear as she now knew it was not me. All my girl friends cash was stolen. We reported the situation to the front desk they acted like it was no big deal and then we were directed to “risk management”. What a joke!!!!! They offered no answers or solutions. You would think they have cameras being a 4 star hotel in Vegas. I am a meeting planner and travel all over the country during the year working with hotel staff at various hotels. This by far was the worst experience I have ever had. I researched the issue on the internet and there are so many others out there who have been robbed at the Mandalay bay and The Hotel. DO NOT SAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!

OK there is no coffee pot--But there is a Starbucks with in a 3 minute walk-if your lazy you will hate this. Rooms great, staff very friendly, location not so good for gambling--Had 2 kids with me under 10 and they loved the pools and they didnt mind not having a coffee pot. There is only one towel rack to hold your towels, but there is a huge floor to throw them on--I dont fold towels on vacation so that did not bother me. Having a take a cab everywhere is the worst part about this hotel. There is a pretty nice tram that goes to luxor and excaliber for free. Get the "V" Suite it is awesome. Save your money and dont get the DUECE all day pass. I got 4 of them for the family and on our first ride, it was so slow, we got off and got a taxi. We loved the hotel, if they could just move it to where Bally's is that would be awesome!!

we did not get our room requested. no complimentaries. dirty sheets, towels, and bathroom no room service. over-charged us for room due to communication error on THEIR part and after that, we were treated like second-hand dirt. for what the hotel offers, we were not getting the value we expected to get from such a "reputable" hotel. I regret not reading all the reviews left by former guests here on yahoo. the only thing they did good was smile in your face and put up a good front with all the pretty and expensive scenery. But once you actually walk into your room, if you are lucky enough to even get that much out of them, you will find where the money really goes. HINT: it isn't your rooms!

Didnt care for the way they handle comps. Stayed five nights, two were comp. Played lost about $1500 they said I didnt play enough to cover some lunches and dinner, about 200 bucks. Not crying but normally they save you a few bucks, but they said they already comp me two free nights dont forget. HAHA didnt work that way at Mirage year before. Kind of disappointed in the way they handled it, like I didnt lose enough, but my house is more important than the casinos bottom line. Should have blown another $1000 bucks maybe I would have gotten 50 bucks back or so. LOL

Room was not clean and ready prior to my arrival even though I made reservation 2 wks ahead. I disliked :1. No coffee pot in a room. 2. Have to pay $5 just to access public internet and 1.50$ for each printed page.No receipts were provided ! 3. No continental breakfast 4. There is a refrigerator in the room with all types of goodies.You touch anything the sensor located under the merchandise is charging you immediately!Don`t forget to eat/drink whatever you put your fingers on because you charged anyway :) I will not choose this hotel ever again. This whole thing is like a pile of s..t cover with gold.LOL I was very disappointed.

THEhotel is very beautiful, but we would not go back due to the terrible service. We had reserved a room with two queens six months in advance, but when we got there they said that there were no queen rooms left. They did nothing to fix the problem or make up for their mistake. They wouldn't let us do a late check out, and then lost one of the bags that we checked. Instead of trying to find the bag, they argued with us and told us that we weren't missing one! Eventually they found the missing bag, but they acted like it was our fault. We didn't even get an apology. Also, contrary to what we were told, the Mix club is NOT accessible by guest elevator. We, and four other groups of people, wandered around for half an hour looking for the entrance and when we finally found someone to ask, they told us that you have to stand in the long line at the regular entrance, and there is a cover. So, while it is a very beautiful hotel, the service is not worth the money.
