Econo Lodge Inn And Suites, Merritt

We checked in at 7:08pm and Checked out by 12:30am!!!! We stayed one of thier suites, 2 bedrooms, small kitchen, and a living area $123.00 per night. We have a family of 2 boys and 2 girls plus parents, the 2 boys where in one room and the 2 girls started in the other. We where moving the girls to the futon in the livingroom at about 12:00am so we could get to bed and guess what, BED BUGS!!!! Called the front desk with no answer about 40 times rang the night bell 10 times no answer finally my husband banged on the door an the "General Manager" came. We did get a refund and but not even an I'm sorry. So there we are with no hotel room 4 very tired and upset kids and now have to clean EVERYTHING!!! BEWARE STAYING THERE!!!!

We rented the honeymoon suite this summer & I WILL NEVER GO BACK. It was so not worth the almost 200.00 dollar night stay. There were no nothing no cheap bottle of wine, no fruit basket NOTHING the room was nasty, half a roll of toilet paper, piss on the floor by toilet,lipstick on wine glasses, dirty mirrors & NO ONE came to clean it for us our second night stay.So they are charge 369 dollars and some odd cents for 2 nights for WHAT the tub pfff not a pleasant stay the night before and the night of a wedding.

We were put in a small dark room hidden in a back outside hallway with no front window. Very small room.

The econo lodge was $40 cheaper than any of the other hotels in Merritt, and we decided to stay there as we only needed a room for one night. The rooms are clean and comfortable. But because the hotel is in the middle of downtown it can get noisy. We stayed on a Saturday night and there were noises all night so we didn't get a very good night's sleep. Also, there is no breakfast in the hotel. They do have free wifi high speed internet, which worked well.

Terrible service. There are so many hotels in the area for the same price, there is no reason to stay here given the the number of choices.

I like this place because of the great service they provide. They have great big rooms, and two convention rooms. Their rooms also contain kitchenettes.
