Hotel El Paso, Salou

Visited many times in JULY...Great hotel especially for those with children .Great location 5 mins walk to parks or catch the free train.Hotel accomodation/room a little cramped,but cleaned on regular basis. Grounds all clean & pretty.Pools great for all ages.Plenty of water/pool/sporting activities for the children throughout the day .Food hall good with great variety for all.Also use the other hotel restaurants as these are nice for a change especially if you are staying for 2 weeks,it costs no more as the hotel supply you with a voucher for other places and also book times for you. Parks are excellent and are in themed areas,plenty for all ages.A must see is the evening show every night around the lake fantastic fireworks and water display.The show starts at midnight(a little late if you have very young members but not to be missed) but you need to be seated around lake from 11pm onwards for a good view.Local shops are close by and the hotel provides a blue train which goes to Salou,10 min trip and also brings you back throughout the day...A visit to barcelona is a good trip too... Overall a grat stay at a great price.No need to travel all the way to Florida as we have in the past.We enjoyed it here as much at a fraction of the price and distance.10/10

I've slept in better hostels.... The beds were about 12 months overdue a change

When we arrived my first impression was very good the service was quick and it was very clean. Our room was very nice too with everything we needed.We went half board and the food was excellant with something for everyone to enjoy. The theme park, water park, town centre and beach were all close and within walking distance.Theres not much we can fault about our stay.The only thing we grumbled about was the price of the drinks at the hotel. None of us wanted to come home and I booked up for next year as soon as we got back.
