What a fun place

I have a 3 year old girl and a 2 year old boy and we had a blast. Clear water, great snorkling, and best of all delicious food. The bungalows are very clean, staff is friendly, and there is a lot of attraction near by (e.g. Tulum, Playa de Carmen). I will definitely go back. I higly recommend this place. As most places in the area, make sure you do not drink water out of the faucet or brush your teeth with it. The restaurants only use bottle water and filtered water. Enjoy !!!!!!

Akumal on the Beach

I have been to Hotel club Akumal four times and am on my way to visit for a fifth. I have stayed in Hotel and the Bungalows. The hotel is right on the beach; the bungalows are a few steps from the beach. Both are an incredible value. It's quiet with a grocery store and internet cafe nearby; small bank and ATM; local dive shop and boutiques. Food in small resturants is excellent and not expensive. It is NOT party central. Beautiful beach. Service excellent.
