Travelodge Windsor Central, Windsor

Hotel itself is pretty clean but the room we had on the 8th floor was very warm in July 2008. Could not open windows as they only open a little bit although had to close them most nights due to the noise. The hotel blog says there may be noise from the bars at the weekends - we stayed Monday to Friday and the noise was terrible. Did not get a full nights sleep during our stay. The bottle banks are emptied during the early hours of the night and you are awoken by glass breaking. Also there is a train station across the road and you are in the flight path of Heathrow airport. If you are a light sleeper or have kids don't stay here!
