"During my recent stay at this hotel, checked in on the 30th of September 2008 and checked out on the 22nd of October 2008. The first night I arrived there i was given room no 8032 which was a delux regency room. I was so tired that i just crushed out the first night not knowing what was round me . The following day realised this room was dark and had no window . I then upgraded my room to a super delux regency room 8010 on the 8th floor which was really nice and big and very comfortable. As u can see i was a long staying guest . I could not find a blemiss/ fault during my stay there apart from room's large window overlooking the Airport runway (very nice) ,but window is not double glazed ie not sound proof. Sorry to say that every morning till the late in the night traffic noise from the main road was unacceptable if i can put it mildly say atleast .Although i was on the 8th floor but did not realise amount of traffic noise that can be heard. It was annoying me towards the end of my stay and could not wait to come back Home . That is the only problem that i have experiened during my stay there. I have put my point accross to many members of the Hotel staff and they have listened and understood my concerned and advised me to put it on the review box. I come to Dhaka twice or three times a year.Although value for money is very good here but i have to re-think or re-consider myself very carefully if i want to come and stay here again or to recommend a friend Unless Hotel authority do something about reducing the noise issue . I understand, it is going to be difficult/tough to rectify now as it will be very cosly exercise but can not understand why it was not taken into consideration or done in the first place.Secondly just to make a small comment on the receiption area which i believe is on the wrong floor (5th), should have been on the ground floor. As you would appriciate the presentation, which is very important part of everything. Hotel would look far more georgious than as it is now had it been the other way round, in my opinion. However, i must also say that all the staff from ground floor security to receptions to Restaurent to room services are an absolute credit to this Hotel. It has been an absolute pleasure and previllage to have met all the superb friendly people there. Hospitality was great, second to none.Staff were so nice and kind that they made me feel like a home. Please thank them on my behalf and very gratefull to them.I'll come and say hello to everyone there especially Aysha Dewan n co, the chef (in the restaurent)even if i do not stay there for the noise factor .please let me know if anything has done to reduce the noise. Also Hotel is very nice n clean n food were very tasty. Well done to everyone there . Sorry for my review has more words than i first thought. Many thanks, Abdul Masud London ,United Kingdom "
