Great Value

My wife & I recently stayed at the River Terrace Inn for 2 days of wine tours. The hotel was nicer than expected; ie decor was beautiful, rooms nicely made up, clean, etc. The continental breakfast was awesome (see other reviews here for menu) and the restaurant was also quite good (although limited menu) and well priced. If you book this hotel well in advance, you will get a great value for your money. The only knock on this hotel from our perspective was its location; not easy walking distance to town square. So if you don't have a car (like we did not), and you want to sight see, this may not be the hotel for you. But if you are doing wine tours with an tour operator and simply want to relax in the evening, then you will likely love this place. There is a restaurant affiliated with the hotel (Cuvee), but we found it was quite expensive.
When we arrived, we realized that our room did not have a tub. The front-desk were very curtious and were able to move us to a room with one.
Overall, we loved our stay. Nothing bad to say about this hotel. The key for us was the value we got for the money we paid by booking months in advance.
