Disappointing
My wife and I were going to celebrate our 27th Anniversary.
It started off horribly; by they could not accommodate all guests for dinner. We went back to the hotel; they said there would be a buffet for $10 but all they had was artichoke dip, chips, meatballs and cheese.
So we went to our room and ordered room service, that was ridiculous for our 27th Anniversary dinner, my wife had a cold 8" vegetable pizza and I had a cheeseburger. On top of it, the pizza, and cheese burger came to over $28.
This Hotel was not accommodating at all, I just couldn’t believe this whole thing was going on at a Hilton of all places!
The next day; we left the hotel around 9AM to go have breakfast and then go to the Zoo. We couldn't get out of the parking lot because our KeyCard to our room wasn't setup for the parking garage. When we got back from the zoo around 4:30PM, we wanted to rest awhile and get cleaned up before going to dinner. When we entered the room, nothing had been cleaned up, no clean towels, bed had not been made, nothing had been done to the room at all.
Needless to say I wasn’t about to stay another night at this hotel and be treated the way we were treated. You know what the sad thing about this whole situation was, NO ONE ever apologized for anything that had happened up to this point and tried nothing to make it right.
My wife and I travel for our companies and I have to say, I have never been treated in such away. It was so upsetting to us that we just wanted to cancel our trip and go back home to Kansas City.
I think you have a serious problem at this location and need to get it resolved before this happens to anyone else.
