Snowed in 2009 Xmas

This Hilton was very impressive. While being a Diamond Hilton Honors member, this place was excellent. Desk staff and amenities are top notch. Very well done.

Hilton Omaha: keeping up with the name
By DahabA, 07/07/09
We were nicely greeted by staff as we checked into the hotel. Overall, the hotel has a cozy atmosphere, nice rooms, and great general area. The service is good, and the on-site restaurant is okay for the money. We were there for a wedding over the 4th of July weekend and we enjoyed the two-night stay at the hotel with other people who were there for the wedding. And may I mention the ball room where the wedding reception was held: it was fantastic for the occasion, only the dinner was not that great!! This Hilton is great if you are not planning to actually see the city as there is not much happening in the immediate neighborhood.

If this is Four Diamond? I Don't think So

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights for my cousins wedding in May. First our room was not ready (and we were trying to check in around 4pm); When we went to dinner the bartender we dealt with in the bar was totally rude, this man was so obnoxious we decided to go elsewhere for dinner and drinks. The next day our breakfast was excellent. But the reception, girlfriends what a mess. The food was cold and the service was a disaster. One server dropped a tray of food, even though it was sad I could not resist chuckling because the whole place operated like a sequal from a Keystone Cop Movie; I did feel bad for more cousin as the most memorable day in her life will be about the poor service and the screw-ups of the evening. The wedding cake was excellent though. Now for the rooms, the comforter in my room had a foul oder, the bathroom was not clean; as for my friend, her room was okay except for the pair of dirty mens undies she found when she was turning in for the night on our first night. Took that poor hotel 1 1/2 hours to get to her room and change the linen (they could have at least offered her another room).

LOVED IT!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/14/09
My daughter and I stayed here for a concert at the Qwest Center, connected to the hotel. Everything was great--the room, the service and the food were second to none. At check in there was a problem with the computer and we had to wait a few minutes. Then we were given a complimentary breakfast and all-day free parking the next day. The bed was the nicest I've ever slept in. Room service was quick, and also very good. I recommend the Hilton Omaha highly!

It's a Hilton! Nice property with all the amenities.
By Brent J, 03/02/08
This is the finest hotel in Omaha. The location is the best for access to the Quest Center. Not much else within a 5 or 6 blocks though. If your looking to stroll through the old downtown, shops, etc. there are better hotels. I travel 3 nights a week for work and his place is excellent. Full service with everything you can ask for is available. I note that some people complain about parking, internet fee's, etc. Valet park and you won't have an issue. And as for the internet access, most high end propeties still charge for. Either get an aircard for your laptop, go without, or pay the modest access. Nice property, I would highly recommend for business travelers or Quest events.

Disappointing
By Rod, 09/04/07
My wife and I were going to celebrate our 27th Anniversary. It started off horribly; by they could not accommodate all guests for dinner. We went back to the hotel; they said there would be a buffet for $10 but all they had was artichoke dip, chips, meatballs and cheese. So we went to our room and ordered room service, that was ridiculous for our 27th Anniversary dinner, my wife had a cold 8" vegetable pizza and I had a cheeseburger. On top of it, the pizza, and cheese burger came to over $28. This Hotel was not accommodating at all, I just couldn’t believe this whole thing was going on at a Hilton of all places! The next day; we left the hotel around 9AM to go have breakfast and then go to the Zoo. We couldn't get out of the parking lot because our KeyCard to our room wasn't setup for the parking garage. When we got back from the zoo around 4:30PM, we wanted to rest awhile and get cleaned up before going to dinner. When we entered the room, nothing had been cleaned up, no clean towels, bed had not been made, nothing had been done to the room at all. Needless to say I wasn’t about to stay another night at this hotel and be treated the way we were treated. You know what the sad thing about this whole situation was, NO ONE ever apologized for anything that had happened up to this point and tried nothing to make it right. My wife and I travel for our companies and I have to say, I have never been treated in such away. It was so upsetting to us that we just wanted to cancel our trip and go back home to Kansas City. I think you have a serious problem at this location and need to get it resolved before this happens to anyone else. Signed, Very Dissatisfied Customer, PS: This is a Anniversary I will never forget!

Hilton Omaha review
By Diane, 08/05/07
the hotel staff was very friendly and professional, but the fact that they charge $10 - $15 per day for internet access is absurd! A hotel that caters to business travelers should certainly include this. They charge additional for parking and the fitness center, too. They include HBO which is nice if you are sitting in your room, but business travelers will benefit more from internet / e-mail access. (nearby Hilton Gardens included it for free). Business center has internet access for 1.99 per minute.

quality
By SHAWN D, 01/28/07
Like any quality hotel, this Hilton goes out of their way to charge for all extras! This hotel is a perfect location for any event at the Qwest Center. You can cross the skywalk and not even have to go out into the freezing NE winter!! They offer a free shuttle within 3 miles. Downtown is only a few blocks away and offers some great food: Matsu and Upstream were excellent!

Best In Omaha
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/23/06
This is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. From the lobby to my bathroom it was immaculate. Appointments were luxurious and sophisticated. Marble bathroom countertop, luxurious bedding, everything I expect in a Hilton and more. Very clean! Check out time was at noon and I couldn't get an extension, and at checkout there was a long line. Do the easy checkout on the phone in your room, it only takes 5 seconds. After waiting for several minutes, I went up to do it and came back down to see the same people still standing in line. My hotel of choice in Omaha!
