Beautiful Hotel but the Service did no Match
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/30/09
The hotel is beautiful and the room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately, our overall experience was overshadowed by some major inconveniences and service issues. When we were getting ready for bed we realized the TV was not working (it would not turn on). When we called the front desk, they offered to send up a mechanic within the hour. We needed to be up at 4:45am so we told them to just wait until the next morning when we were out. We told them we would be back around 10am. When we got back to the room the TV was still not fixed. When I called the front desk to report the TV had not been fixed, they said they would have it fixed for the next guest. There was no apology for it being broken in the first place or for not fixing it when we requested. Broken TVs happen but to not respond to the complaint is unacceptable. After check out, we could not get out of the hotel owned and run self-park garage because the cashier was out to lunch. Our ticket would not work in the automated machine and the hotel offered no solution. We were told to just wait for the cashier to return. We ended up having to wait 30 minutes and came close to missing out flight home. I'd expect much better service from a Conrad and for the prices they charge. There are other downtown Miami hotels that are just as nice, equally priced, and offer the service you would expect from that caliber of hotel.

Terrible Front Desk
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/08
The Conrad is one of the most unpleasant hotels in this area. The front desk service is cold and can be very trying. Why do they put people with so little social skills to attend their guests? This is a difficult time for business and their staff are not doing the hotel any favors by being rude. If management is interested in keeping their customers happy, they would make sure that their representatives be comfortable and socially enjoyable people.

MIAMI'S BEST KEPT SECRET !!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/03/06
I stayed at this wonderful hotel last week for a few days attending a business convention and let me tell you this must be one of MIAMI's best kept secret. Check in was a breeze , the rooms where spacious and extremely well appointed ( i had a bayview suite ) . I had a late night and decided to order Room Service ( 24 hours ! ) and had a creme brulee with crab cakes (Mmmm).I had forgotten my tooth paste and brush. Before I could I could finish ... it was at my door. Everyone from the bellhop to the hotel operator were a pleasure to deal with . Very serene modern ambiance. I also tried the black martini in the NOIR bar which was fabulous and what a great alternative to noisy South Beach. When Im in Miami ... I will be at THE CONRAD !! Great JoB !

Great amenities and location!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/03/06
Great for business travelers and vacationers alike. The amenities are first-class, restaurants are exceptional and service second to none. Conveniently located on Brickell Avenue, the Conrad location is in the heart of downtown financial district, and minutes away from the beach and other entertainment. The service is superb - anything you need or require - a phone call away.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
My experience was great... Service was awsome, awsome view of the bay, they have a martini bar on the top floor with the best view around. A place for a good time... a bit pricy but you wont regret it.
