Holiday Inn Express Pearland, Pearland

This hotel needs new staff & management. The hotel's rooms are awful and they charge arm & a leg. Found another hotel in the area which was 10 times better.

This hotel needs some major improvement. From the service to conditions of the room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone traveling on business.

There was no one working the breakfast area and there was hardly anything to eat. When we asked the front desk person if they would be replenishing the breakfast, he informed us to ask the breakfast host. We told him that there was no one there, he said just go wait there and someone would be there. No one ever came for about 10 minutes and we had to leave.

This hotel is located next to a railroad tracks. It wake me up in middle of the night. Also, the lobby smells like mold and the building and rooms smelled funny.

Rooms were clean,spacious...The a/c was awesome!!! While we were there, hubby got the flu and the housekeeping staff can only be described as AWESOME!! They helped me keep my sanity that week!!! The pool was nice but the hot tub didn't seem to get very hot....okay, not much more than lukewarm They seemed to be doing a lot of work...noticed there was a hole in the ceiling of the workout room and there was plastic covering a window in the entry area. Daytime staff was far more friendly and accomodating than the night staff...seemed more interested in talking on the phone than helping a paying customer!!!

Arrived early memorial day weekend and the individual at the front desk (DeMitria) was wonderful. My room was ready so she let me check in early. She was so pleasant my entire stay. Our first night we needed extra bedding and they brought it right up. The hotel is immaculate and only a year old. The breakfast was delicious and all staff was so pleasant. I never even knew we were by the rr tracks. Also, Main St. is the center of Pearland, so it was convenient to everywhere in Pearland. I loved this holiday inn express and I would stay again. They also offer a great business center where you can use their internet free of charge.
