Stay Somewhere Else
By usadan, 9/6/09
This place was nice five years ago but has really taken a turn for the worse. The rooms now SMELL like mold and mildew (tried two rooms, both smelled like rotten wet gym towels). There are stains on the marble and ceiling and upholstery (carpets were clean at least). There was dust around the a/c around the vent. Wallpaper was bubbling up. Internet costs $20/day. So the location is convenient but other than that, you'd b ewise to find another place to stay. Pretty much any other place would be a better option. Hilton, Crowne Plaza, Trader's, Park Royal, etc.

Great View
By Zaynaf Salaymang, 7/19/09
My family stayed here for 3 days, 2 nights in Jan. '09. We drove in to KL with family and had a very difficult time finding Le Meridien. Granted, we don't live in KL but you'd think it'd be easy to find for being on top of a hill and next to the Hilton! Once we did spot it (took literally 1 1/2 hours!) from Jln Tun Abdul Razak, it took almost 20 mins. to get up the hill. Aside from the location, I'd have to say staff were very friendly and accomodating to our needs...by then I was ready to crash! Once in our room, I was amazed at how modern and clean the room was. We had a splendid view of Lake Gardens...good to wake up to! I'd have to say I was most intrigued by the toilet. Funny as it sounds, it was one of those futuristic types that spray with a push of a button among other things. My daughter and I were playing with that thing for a while, hehe! The buffet breakfast bar at Latest Recipe was OK for a 5 star hotel. A good variety to chose from, it was just hard for us to find somebody behind the food to aid us.

I highly recommend this hotel
By Tim and Jennifer, 6/1/06
This is my 2nd trip to KL and the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel. I requested the executive package because it gives you access to the exec lounge on the 33rd floor for whatever. Twice this week I have had to meet with clients and used the exec lounge. Well worth the extra maybe $20USD a night. I got upgraded to a suite. The nicest one I have ever been in. King beadroom with adjacent bath that has a shower seperate from the bathtub. A living room and seperate den/work area. AND a guest bathroom. This is the first time I have ever had a hotel room that had two bathrooms. The service is awesome. Twice a day maid service, fresh bowl of fruit at 5PM EVERY day, free broadband, and just phenominal service.

Would stay again.
By liquidskycc, 9/20/05
Overall service was good and prompt, with friendly faces and quality of service provided to local guest the same as foreign. Our room was very comfortable with tioletries pampering! Their room comes with wine accesories, so if you're in the mood to have a bubble bath with wine or champagne - fret not! Even the glasses are all made of fine cyrstal. We had room service and it was fantastic, anytime! It's a great getaway within the city with the Light Rail Transit plying routes from Bangsar (famous for nite life) to KLCC - Twin Towers, all within the comfort but hassle free city living. Worry not if you're flyin into KL International Airport cause you'd arrive 28mins by KLIA Rail all fresh and minus the traffic delays too. Anytime a good stay!

The Best Yet
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/15/05
The Hotel's address is Sentral or Central in Bahasa Malay. And it lives up to the address. You can hop from the plane or train to your room which is truly comfortable in every way. If you choose to shop, you have two train lines to choose from or taxis(buy a ticket inside the train station to save the hassle). The service is good. The ambience is French chic without being cold. Best of all - the internet connection in every room! They used to have a lovely breakfast spread which I understand may not be on the menu any more. There's also a Middle Eastern restuarant. I tried staying at the Hilton next door. But chose to go back to Le Meridien after comparing the two.

Will stay there next time..
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/28/05
An almost new hotel with high ambitions located together with a twin sister - the Hilton - at the central station. The room was equipped with digital controllers for light temp etc in a state of the art fashion. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you fly with Malasyan airline this hotel is a must because of the convinient check in at "Sentral" station and fast transfer to the airport via KLIA express. One of the large green parks in KL is also located very close to the hotel giving an opportunity for jogging or walking in the busy asian metropole. Compared to Shangri-La, we prefered this hotel!
