Comfort Suites Mesquite, Mesquite

I couldn't come up with a reason to dislike the place if I wanted to. I am a construction superintendent from north Richland hills Tx working in mesquite Tx. Due to long hours, fuel prices and traffic across the metroplex, I looked for a local hotel. Came across this one, read the reviews (as any loyal yahoo user would) and was immediately sceptical but opted to give it a shot. The scale only goes to 5 stars or else I'd give them 6. I looked for a reason to not like the place, biased on the reviews and after a week, have yet to find 1 reason. The price.... Outstanding. Clenliness, phenomenal. Courtesy, amazing... Mathew, is doing an excellent job. Heather and Kristen couldn't have showed more courtesy had they bent over backwards to teach me yoga... Breakfast.... Beats any continental breakfast I've had in 12 years with this company. My workers actually looked forward to breakfast more than their checks... I believe these guys deserve an "at-a-boy" And a pat on the back... I stay in alot of hotels, and bang for the buck... They've won my vote. Thanks to the entire staff and I will return to this hotel in the future. It's as close as you can get to the Hilton and half the price. Sincerely Nick Dean C.B.I. Ltd.

Loved everything, rooms are big and clean, excellent breakfast, great price!

Room was full of bugs. Very young manager with very bad manners said bugs were bad with all the rain and gave me a can of Raid.

The staff is friendly and helpful. I am a traveling business traveler and my wife is as well. we see little of each other and our two Chilren live in Mesquite, every onece in a Blue Moon it works out that the whole fmaily has time to spend catching up. The staff at this hotel always goes out of their way to make sure our stay is quiet and comfortable. The owners obvisouly take good care of this property and the staff that runs it. A+ manager who always does something special for my family especially my children and grand children. high speed internet great for catching up on emails and office work. they do a great job with breakfast. The price is just right, but i would pay more, and many places in the country do pay much more for much less.

Our room smelled like urine. Manager had a filthy mouth. He had a no care attitude. Young punk! We asked for a refund. He said NO WAY!!! If we still complained he was calling the police to get us out. He was sick of complainers!

The hotel is quite lovely. Rooms comfortable. We had trouble with our hot water. The GM- Mr. Dorn is quite a joke. He has a trash mouth. I explained we wanted a late check out because we had no hot water. Mr. Dorn informed me warm water should have been suitable. I was refused a late check out. We had to take a quick cold shower. I overheard him telling another employee he can not stand guests who complain. We were on his F***ing S*** list now. I could not believe it. I called Choice Hotels. I will never stay there again. Choice Hotels should come here undercover.

Our room smelled of smoke. Supposed to have been "No Smoking." Trash can still contained trash. NASTY!

Very Clean, Great breakfast, good location for the area we were visiting-(Town East) Teriffic price for a King Suite

We only stayed one night,but we stayed in a suite.At check-in I signed an agreement that stated if we smoked in the room we would be billed an additional $150. Thats not a problem because we don't smoke.Well to my surprise when I checked my credit card statement I was charged $150 for smoking in the room.I called and was told the room stinks like smoke.It had somewhat of an odor at check in,but I just thought it was the cleaning agents or the a/c.From this point on I will ask for an employ to inspect my room before I settle in.They are suppose to credit my account.
