Great place to stay!
By Jacob, 01/13/07
I stayed here for a week in January 2007 and had a wonderful stay. My room was great, lots of natural light and very comfortable. WIFI was easy to access, which was important for me b/c I was traveling for work. Sherrie, the hostess, prepared an amazing breakfast each morning. Lots of restaurants nearby - especially liked Mr. John's Steakhouse. I would highly recommend staying here!

NEW OWNERS !
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/17/06
In response to the first review. We just wanted everyone to know that the Henry Howard House Inn was recently sold to new owners and has been lovingly renovated and revamped. Their grand opening was just 2 weeks before Hurricane Katrina!! The Inn now features beautiful antique furnishings, new bedding, high-speed wireless internet, local art in most rooms - and a gracious hostess. We loved the eclectic, old-world feel of the place, and thouroughly enjoyed our stay there. Our balcony overlooked Prytania St., and the bathroom felt sumptuous with amazing tile work going all the way up the 12" ceilings! The owners really did a knock-out job with the renovations. Our hostess told us that they are now open for parties, intimate receptions and other gatherings. If you are planning a trip to New Orleans - I would highly recommend calling the Henry Howard House Inn!

Beware: False Advertising
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/23/04
I stayed here for Mardi Gras 2004. There is no refrigerator, no hair dryer, no iron, and no coffee maker. It is a simple room with the bathroom down the hall. I thought it would be a nice place to stay. I was wrong. Motel 6 could compete in quality. Yes, there is breakfast in the morning. However, good luck finding the manager when more milk and water is needed.
