Our Dream Wedding Come True
By ,
We had our wedding at Playa Fiesta on October 23rd, and all we have to say is that the place is completely amazing. The owner, Adam, was helpful from the day we called for information about having a wedding at his hotel. He worked with us in order to have the wedding on the day we had hoped for. After we booked, that’s where Lindsay and Montse came in. They are absolutely the best coordinators ever. They work really well as a team to make you feel that everything is under control. Being a destination wedding, you may think it’s difficult to plan, but not with them. What made me feel comfortable was that if we had a question, they would respond to us within 10 minutes. They had every detail taken care of. How much more can you ask for?!! By the time October came around, everything was taken care of, almost like it was too easy. Once we arrived in Puerto Vallarta, Playa Fiesta was exactly how we imagined it. Just beautiful! When we finally met Lindsay and Montse, it was like we knew them forever. During our wrap meeting, we were able to meet our minister, Barry. My husband and him quickly became friends by talking about football. Barry reassured us that he would take our personalities and fit them into ceremony, and that’s exactly what he did. The wedding day was amazing. Lindsay and Montse really made our dream wedding come to life. We were stress-free the entire day because we knew they had everything under control. When our guests arrived they were all stunned on how beautiful Playa Fiesta was. The atmosphere was really romantic, and the day couldn’t have been more perfect. Everything from the music to the food was fantastic. Great job Lindsay and Montse for pulling off the best wedding ever! We both appreciate all your hard work! :)

The Perfect Place for a Wedding
By ,
This is the first review I’ve ever written and I must say it’s incredibly warranted; I would hate for any bride to miss out on getting married at Playa Fiesta! My husband and I wanted a small hotel so the wedding would be intimate and we wanted a place that had a lot of options and was flexible. It’s been a month since we were married and our friends are still emailing and calling us to tell us what a wonderful wedding it was. Playa Fiesta is amazing!!! Here are just a few things we loved: Adam: Everyone always talks about how great Lindsay is and while she is (I’ll get to that shortly), Adam is pretty amazing too. He’s very level headed and always fair. He cares a tremendous amount about the property and that everyone leaves happy. Lindsay: No wedding planner in the world is as good as Lindsay, she’s amazing and she always remembers the little things. She will literally hold your hand through the entire process. The crazy thing is it wasn’t only my husband and I who noticed how wonderful she is, everyone at the wedding commented on what a tremendous job she did. I never had to think of a detail, ever. We just got our pictures yesterday and I don’t think I realized how many extra little things she handled. My niece was sick before coming to Mexico and while on-site Lindsay had a doctor come to the resort and she even sent someone to the pharmacy to pick-up the prescription. Lindsay went above and beyond. I’m only sad Lindsay is married, we want her in our family (sorry Adam). The hotel: Everyone thinks we’re crazy because we didn’t visit PF before our wedding but let me tell you, arriving and seeing how breathtaking it was made it very special. All of our friends said it was one of the nicest places they have stayed. It’s got a boutique feeling and I literally felt like I could have been at someone’s house. The scenery (sand, rocks, ocean, and mountains) is worth all the money in the world. The weather was perfect and the space is exquisite. Some of our friends left to go snorkeling and they said the entire time they wished they were just sipping cocktails in the heated pool. It’s soooo much better than those massive hotels because it’s private and while it’s close to downtown you feel secluded when you’re at the resort. The food: My parent’s owned restaurants my entire life so food is a big deal for my family and I’m very happy to report the food was wonderful. All of the food was delicious! Normally I’m not a big fan of wedding cake but everyone commented on how good ours was and I agree, it was delicious. The wedding: No words can explain how perfect the wedding was. I promise you’ll spend all day in awe at how lovely the scenery is and what an easy process it is. Plus, Lindsay was flexible with us; we were able to do a lot of things we wanted. For instance, we wanted out friends to play the music so Lindsay brought in the needed equipment. We also wanted a snack to be brought out toward the end of the night so Lindsay held onto dessert and they served it at 11:00 p.m. Lindsay even put out sand and candles for our seashell place cards which was a lovely touch (there were many, many little things like this that Lindsay handled. Everything was very high end and Lindsay was constantly going above and beyond. We always felt very safe. We were constantly leaving camera’s, phones and wallets by the pool and never once did anything go missing on the resort! I didn’t lock my door once. I would definitely recommend Playa Fiesta and I promise you our 55 guests would agree.

AMAZING Hotel for Destination Weddings
By ,
I've been to Playa Fiesta twice now... once as a wedding guest a few years ago and this last time as wedding photographer. I suppose this gives me a somewhat unique perspective. As a guest: You will not find a better hotel. Rooms are beautiful and clean. The grounds are well maintained. The food is amazing. The scenery is gorgeous. I think the biggest selling point though is the staff. Owners Adam and Lindsay are true professionals and their professionalism trickles down to their staff. From housekeeping to bar staff to kitchen staff, they all treat you like family. In my opinion, you can't put a price on that kind of service. As photographer: I was part of the 'behind the scenes' activity of a Playa Fiesta wedding. For all you brides out there reading these reviews let me tell you... You will LOVE Lindsay. She is simply amazing at coordinating events, and she will make sure you are perfectly happy on your big day. Combine Lindsay's talents with the hotel staff I described above and you have a perfect combination. I wish every wedding I shot could be so beautiful and well put together. One last note... As I mentioned earlier, I first visited this hotel as a guest several years ago. On this second visit, I found it absolutely astonishing that many of the hotel staff that were still working at the hotel actually remembered my name! That's ridiculous when you think of how many events and guests move through this hotel over the years (and I don't think I'm THAT memorable of a person)! For your wedding, you and your family and friends can basically take over this awesome little hotel - You should jump at the opportunity!

Best Wedding Ever!
By ,
My now husband (then fianc) went to visit Playa Fiesta back in January 2005 as we were scoping venues for our Puerto Vallarta Wedding in February of 2006. We immediately fell in love with Playa Fiesta. Not only was it beautiful and authentic, but it had everything one could ever want--located right on the water, restaurant with amazing food, full service palapas bar, two pools, Jacuzzi, gorgeous rooms with ocean views and the sound of the waves lapping against the hotel, incredible service and two extremely cool and attentive owners. Although we did not have the actual ceremony at Playa Fiesta (and this was merely a result of wanting to get out and explore PV a little), we had several events there, with not only our 40 closest friends who were staying at Playa Fiesta, but all of our family who came from other villas and hotels. It was flawless! Our friends who stayed there had the best time of there lives (literally, that is what some of them said) and our events went off without a hitch. The prices are very reasonable for the outstanding quality and service they provide. Adam and Lindsay were not only fantastic hosts, but were extremely responsive, organized and attentive while try to plan from 1500 miles away. There are already murmurs of a reunion. The wedding week exceeded our expectations.

The best time EVER!!
By ,
We had the opportunity to have our wedding on New Years Eve at Playa Fiesta. Since the hotel is much like a large villa, we rented out the entire place for our family and friends to spend a week (or more) with us. Our day turned into a week of playing, sun bathing, and eating AMAZING food. It was truly the best experience we could have had and are already trying to figure out how to do a yearly anniversary trip!! The rooms had been remodeled since our very first visit to the Playa, and kept becoming more beautiful than the time before. Each time we visit the hotel, we are impressed by the changes that have been made. It was amazing before but now it is outstanding! If you are looking for a place to go outside of the cookie-cutter hotels on the strip, this is the place for you. You actually get to experience more of Puerto Vallarta since you are close to the Old Town's wonderful shops, restaurants, and beaches. The staff at the hotel is wonderful and will become a part of your special experience there. We LOVED all those working there, and felt that our trip wouldn't have been as wonderful without them! The owner, Adam, went out of his way to make sure our stay and wedding was the best he could make it. We had a better time than we could have ever dreamed of. The food at the hotel is so amazing, many of our guests stayed there each night instead of going out into town. At Playa Fiesta, you can spend your entire time at the hotel, and never feel like you are missing out on anything elseit has it all!! If you are looking for a beautiful, unique, villa-like experience for a vacation, group gathering, or wedding then we suggest you look at the Playa Fiesta. You will see, as we did, it is truly an amazing place!

Feels like a villa
By ,
Playa Fiesta Hotel is a bit farther from the main strip, which can be good or bad depending on what type of experience you are looking for in Puerto Vallarta. I liked it because it was away from the endless tourists, but if I hadn't rented a car, this would have been too far out.

The hotel is set up with huge suites that overlook the ocean. If you have a family that you want to stay together, there are suites that have a master bedroom and a second bedroom, with living and kitchen area in the middle.

The guys that work there are very, very friendly and give great service. If you stay there for a few days, you really feel as though they are almost your friends. We ate at the hotel almost every night, and had entertainment arranged solely by the concierge. The food was magnificent and local(yet not spicy, dont worry). I felt that this hotel really was more like a villa, and because of it I had a very relaxing vacation!

Amazing Hotel and Staff
By ,
My wife and I were married last November at Playa Fiesta. It was the most amazing event of my life and we couldn't have picked a better hotel in a better location. We loved Playa Fiesta for many reasons...First, the location. Playa Fiesta is located right on the beach south of town...We wanted a place that was close to town(about 4 minutes cab ride for about $4.00 or 4 minutes bus ride...(50c)Busses run every fifteen minutes right across the street. We also wanted a place that felt secluded and peaceful...Some of the hotels Downtown are quite noisy...We also wanted a hotel where all our guests could stay. Playa Fiesta met all our needs. It's the type of place where the staff knows your name but they let you relax. The full bar by the pool serves delicious concoctions and the best Mexican cuisine in Vallarta. The cuisine includes authentic Mexican dishes as well as American and European cuisine... So if you feel like Bacon and Eggs with fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast or huevos rancheros it's all on the menu...For lunch and dinner you can't go wrong... Prime Rib...Carne Asada...The most amazing ceviche and shrimp tacos you've ever tasted among many other delectable dishes...Oh...The best margaritas(how could I forget)The hotel has a beautiful pool and infinity pool that looks out to the ocean. 3 large Jacuzzis did I mention the bar and the margaritas? The Hotel is run by Adam Burgess and his staff...If you want to go fishing, parasailing, get a luxurious massage while the waves crash beside you, whatever your needs the amazing staff will accommodate you. As far as weddings go you can have a formal classy sophisticated wedding complete with white linens and mariachis or have a big party for all your friends...We found the rooms and the food and drinks to be the most reasonable in all of Vallarta (We had a year to plan our wedding we did a lot of research) If you want to plan a wedding? This is the place? Gather with all your friends? or just have a romantic getaway with your love I recommend it highly...
