Holiday Inn Batam, Bagam

The 4 days spent with wife and daughter were fantastic; the adults can relax on the pool or (better) in the SPA Center while the child can play around. Food OK, suite confortable and prize OK. Surely we will back soon. Nice location to keep out from the noise Singapore for short vacation.

I had staied there for 5 months and the staff's attitude is very good and their smile is impressive. The place I like to go for dinner the most is the Chinese dragon inn. It is quiet and taste the jasmine tea and soft music there. It is wonderful. but one inconvenience thing is that it is very far away from the city center.

just came back today. was really impressed by the staffs attitude. they are so helpful, prompt and cheerful. most importantly, they are yes people. the environment is great for a short breakaway . great place for the whole entire family.. especially if you have little ones =) going back again!!

last week, mi and my friend went batam for a short hliday trip. we stayed at holiday inn resort ... i can say that resort provide very good services, the staff are very helpful, communication is not a problem. The suite that we book have a living room and 2 bedroom... "OMG" is wat i said when i jus step in.. the suite is totally a heaven, for jus paying 150 per person where there is 4 of us, we can have this big big room, really worth a stay.... BUT the onli bad point is that, the location is too far away from shopping malls. advice shoppers to book hotels more to city area...

I recently went to Batam with my mom with the sole intention of resting and relaxing. Holiday Inn is situated about 30mins away from Batam Centre. You won't be impressed by the landscap outside of the hotel however, the hotel is beautifully landscaped. There're alot of interesting water features and bridges around the hotel which makes it really nice to walk around especially after a heavy meal. They have a beautiful pool and about 3 different types of restaurants - Japanese, Continental and Chinese. A must try is their sago pudding with coconut milk and brown sugar. This is a heavenly desert, its cheap and absolutely mouth-watering. Their food servings are also very generous. Their morning breakfast also has a large variety. Holiday Inn is known for their BIG buffet breakfasts, try to get rooms with breakfast included. It's really worth it! Now, the spa is truly a must place to go. The prices are really reasonable once you've tried one of their massages or facials. They truly give you personal attention and you feel so pampered by them. We had a few snags with the water heater in our room - it turned cold after a few minutes but the staff were really efficient in attending to the problem as soon as it was reported. The staff is very warm and friendly, the place is really clean as well and you have to chcck out their Polo Ralph store for some great deals. An ideal place for families, singles or couples. The staff at Holiday Inn really does look after its guests very well. I will most definitely think of Holiday Inn next time I visit Batam.

My husband and i, with our 6 months old baby planned this short getaway with my in-laws. This is my in-law's first ever trip out of Singapore and it takes a great deal to convince them to come out. My family was pleasantly greeted by the hotel valet that picked us up at the Waterfront Terminal. We were greeted ever so politely upon arrival and granted with early check in. Our rooms are very spacious and clean and my in-laws were truly impressed. The view from our Deluxe Suite is simply fantastic! I had requested for a baby cot upon check-in and was expedited only an hour later as they need to set the cot. I realised that they had missed out the flat panel which supports the bottom part of the cot. The maintenance guy only managed to find the part and fixed it the following day. My family simply enjoyed our stay especially the Buffet Breakfast which is absolutely scrumptious, the swimming pool is really fun and the atmosphere and service is absolutely superb. Even my husband's uncle who is married to a Batam native is thoroughly impressed on what he saw Holiday Inn has to offer to us. The view and ambience especially at night, simply blew our minds. The only flaw is that the location of the hotel is a bit far out to the main shopping area (Nagoya) and local treats are quite a distance away.. Otherwise, the hotel is great enough even for those who do not wish to venture out. Families who went to Holiday Inn Waterfront would not deny that this is the best family based hotel in Batam. My family absolutely enjoyed the trip as we had done serious retail therapy and enjoyed our wonderful stay in Holiday Inn Waterfront Batam. We'll be back and this time, with the whole family entourage!

I love the spa, cheap and good..rooms are clean...POLITE STAFFS.. I will return to the hotel again for sure.. if only there are shops or mini shopping centres around the hotel, then it will make HOLIDAY INN BATAM A PERFECT PLACE!

The place is so wonderful, relaxing, friendly staff even my own maid can’t be attentive enough like them and spa is so relaxing. I really don’t need to go out and I can already enjoy it there. Ambience is so relaxing and can’t wait to go again. I am really stress with work and I seldom smile while I am at work but now I’m always smiling and it has release my stress, and I am a person who cannot be bother to write review but this resort make me do so as they really DESERVE IT!!! The customer service at the hotel is really great. The staff are really wonderful, they are able to anticipate my needs. The resort is located near the harbour, it's less than a 5 mins ride away... Upon arrival, we had our check-in and were escorted to our rooms by the friendly staff. Well, there's really lots of good stuff... the list goes on and on.. The only bad thing that happend during the trip was that the resort is isolated. The only thing nearby, was a seafood restaurant rite beside the hotel. So we had an extremly hard time trying to find lunch outside the hotel.. Well,I really can't wait to go back there again...

A nice gateway for short vacation. Even if you did'nt venture out of the Hotel, you can still enjoy yourself within the vicinity. Surprisingly, my family does enjoy ourselve, especially the breakfast buffet.
