Great value, great staff

Certainly no 5-star Marriott or Hyatt, but recently renovated property is very reasonably priced and as close as you can get to the action without being walk-to-lift or ski-in/ski-out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Recently renovated two bedroom unit was nicely sized. Free wireless and an internet station in the clubhouse. Indoor/outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs, one indoor, one outdoor. Rooms ringing the pool were farthest removed from the street/parking lot and seemed like they would be quietest. Shuttle runs every 15 minutes to Lionshead during ski day. No shuttles to town at night, though, must take Vail bus, which runs regularly.
Overall? If you're going for the skiing, Eagle Point is a great value. If you're looking for a destination resort, look elsewhere.
