Great deal and accommodating!

This guesthouse allowed us to cancel a night at 9 pm on that night, as my daughter fell ill and needed to stay in hospital. Then, when we arrived they, at great hassle, changed our room so my wheelchair-bound daughter could stay on the ground floor (there are no elevators). They inconvenienced several guests because of this, no doubt, but made life vastly easier for us (my daughter is 14 and 100 lbs., and we'd have had to carry her. Then, they gave us a sleeping pad for the floor for no extra charge, with sheets, blanket, and pillow, though it was initially supposed to be $10/night. So, we were very appreciative of the accommodations. The location is within easy reach of Seattle with car, easy to find, an excellent value, considering the $80 (tax in) price, which includes nice outdoor swimming pool and free buffet breakfast. We were very happy with the service and room. My only slight quibble is that hotels.com lists this hotel as having a gym. There is a commercial gym next door, very elaborate, but charges $5 for guests a day. If you're expecting a free gym room, this is disappointing. Regular rates are $7/day, so hotel guests get $2 off.
