Sunbridge Inn & Suites, Zapata

I agree that this place should be a boater's hub, but the lake is in dire crisis for water. The manager is smart, to focus on the sporting industry, since the gas and oil industry is doomed, it's a brilliant move, always knew that she is a smart lady, but the water leverage is of great concern. I would like to see improvemnet with the parking facilities, the boaters are very selfish, and they do not show concern for the other guests. This is not a situation for the manager to solve, this is pure inconsideration with the boaters. The staff is well trained to greet the guests and the manager is cool, the rooms are very clean and attractively laid out. Boaters, show some respect for the hotel property and stop bumping into the motel columns! You will cause, all of the other guests to pay for your disrespect.

I was at a hotel next to this motel, and from the window, I saw the worker and the manager dancing as they were washing the yard, I thought "what a way to have fun and work", we stayed next door because of the pool, but for the last day we switched to this motel and we did enjoy it, because we had a barbeque at the gazebo and because everything was ground level, it was easy to transport groceries,and luggage. To endorse all the comment, (yes) friendly staff, entertaining manager, and cleanliness. Thumbs up for this motel.

I don't think that this motel should not be converted to a boater's hub, this is a convenient place for all types of guest's, great access for room and parking and a well focused manager who has the interest of the guest's close to her heart. I recalled being in her present when she was notifying all of her guest's to get out of the lake because of a storm warning. i don't know anyother person with such a connection for her guest's. I knew then, that business will prosper for this motel. So boaters, know that the oil and gas companies have contributed to the growth of this motel and offcourse, the hardworking manager and staff. Leave rooms for us too!

The hospitality of the staff is very inviting, but the boaters should have consideration for the other guests, the building is not designed to accomodate "front room" parking for all of the guest's and our vehicle is just as valuable as the boats. The hard working manager is doing great, this girl works long hours, how humane can one be 7/20. She is cool, the rooms are clean and comfortable, very good amenities. This motel will always be my first choice

love this place, peaceful, clean, and caring staff, love the accent of the manager, she is very professional and hard working. This place should be a boaters hub, we will not logged anywhere else, but it needs extension. Hopefully they will recognize the need for it. It's good for business. Th price is great too

Wow, tournaments in (January, march & may) better make reservation now for next year, this place needs expansion, best place in Zapata. Well managed! Great service ! love em! rooms very spacious. Detractors, fix yourself,need cleansing from the inside. Manager, please, add more rooms with (3) beds

Congratulations, a website finally! read some reviews, and I have to agree that it's seems like competition from Sunbridge, is creating some anxiety for competitors. The several times I have been there, these are not the comment of the caliber of people who logged at this place,The remarks are "layman". This must be an achievemnet of that hard working manager, You Go Girl! What more can one ask for? Direct service from the manager, new hotel, exceptionally clean room, safe environment. reasonably priced and great parking facility. I see definite growth for this company, thumbs up for the manager

The other reviews sum it up. Disgusting customer service from SARA. I think there's like 4 other reviews about her and then the other 'good' reviews are about her being nice lol. So clearly the good ones are fake reviews to try to counteract the nasty feedback about her. I'll keep it simple: Rooms: Decently Clean Location: Eh, feels sort of scary with the area Service: CRAP/Garbage/Horrible/Yucko! You are probably wondering how one lady can make someone's stay so nerve racking? Well, she is the ONLY person who works the front desk and she has no soul. Mean, Rude, LOUD (I heard her yelling at a guest 2 weeks ago when we stayed here!). I'd avoid this place like the plague and look elsewhere. Good Luck Sunbridge, you will need it. OR just get rid of the cancer that is 'Sara'.

The 'manager' Sarah Boodoosingh makes this place awful. Let me explain. The rooms are very clean and the rates are reasonable and the lodge seems to cater toward fishermen as many boats were parked next to our room. The problem with Sunbridge is as follows: The receptionist/manager Sarah is extremely rude, obnoxious and lacks any sense of people skills and customer service. My wife called in to make the reservation originally and based on the initial phone call we almost cancelled the reservation but rolled with it because of the good reviews we saw. Well as we arrived, we had a problem with the water pressure and I went to the front desk to ask for assistance and Sarah made it like 'well that's not my problem, what do you want ME to do?' All I was asking was for a room change or to fix the pressure. The end result was she was combative and make it like my request was out of this world to expect a warm running shower with ample sink pressure. What did we do? We switched our hotel the next morning and spent our next 3 nights next door. Hopefully the owner of this inn/lodge can read some of these reviews and notice the trend- Sarah, the moody and obnoxiously rude representative you have working your front desk is costing you business! My advice to other travels, stay at the Holiday Inn next door or Best Western down the road.

Fishing in August...stranded on lake and we called Sarah at the hotel. She contacted the game wardens who came to the rescue. Sarah called back every 10 minutes to check on us. This lady is a very kind and special person. The hotel is very well managed. Rooms are cool in summer, clean and very spacious. They do a great job of cleaning daily and have all the amenities that bass fishermen need.
