As the owners of this Inn, we felt the false comments posted by "devindylan05" required a response. They did damage our beautifully renovated penthouse. They were charged for such damages as shown in the photos taken and on file. The penthouse probably did look staged to them when they saw the online photos as their mess took over the space rather quickly; thus, it no longer looked like the inviting place it is.
The fact that our business is 70% repeat clientele would demonstrate that the comments posted simply cannot be true. This review was obviously written in anger. To us, as hardworking Americans, it was very disheartening to see how little respect was shown to our property and how this guest is not taking responsibility for their actions. Instead they are now trying to slander us with non truths.
Do we charge guests when they damage property? Absolutely. This is the first time a guest was charged for damaging the penthouse.

Beware of this hotel. My family and my friend and her family, stayed at the penthouse over labor day weekend. we loved the place. we even took care of the house like it was our own, told housekeeping we didn't need them to come in, just to take garbage out and thats it.. they didn't even do that. we vacuumed, cleaned up.. try to keep our kids from making too much noise seeing as though we had hard wood floors thru out the house.. we left and thought we did a really good job.. well 11 days later I received a letter in the mail stating we were disrespectful and they couldn't believe the damage that was done to the penthouse.. excuse me?????? supposively we marked up the bedroom walls, damaged the drywall in the living room, ripped leather off the leather chair, scratched the floor to the point they need to refinish the whole thing. it did not look like that when we left, and we called the owner to talk to him about it and ask for proof, like and insurance list or photos, and he told us he never loses a case in court so to take him to court and he hung up.. he is a scammer. he charged my credit card on sept 2nd the day after we left but mysteriously didn't get the letter until september 13th. no calls, no nothing. he waited just enough time so the charges would definetly be on my credit card and now i have to go thru so much to dispute it.. he charged us $400. and not only that we found 4 different prescription pills in the bedrooms on the floor, easily accessed by our children and 2 of them looked like they could of been m&m's. our 2 year olds would of just put them in their mouths... we took them to the manager onsite that day and nothing was done, just oh well, we let that slide, and when we reminded the owner of that during our phone call, he said, you didn't give them to me. and could of cared less about that situation.
