You Can't Please Everyone!

I've been visiting the Buckhorn Lodge for years. I've never had a bad meal or bad entertainment! Mrs. Unruh, the owner, is so personable and puts on a great show with the Buckhorn Boys. It's so nice to be able to get away from the craziness of the city and relax at the Buckhorn. As far as the very few complaints I've read, there simply are those individuals that will always find fault and you simply cannot please. After all, the Buckhorn is not the Waldorf, but a wonderful simplistic mountain lodge that is fun and relaxing to visit and has the good old American charm that people love!

Not happy

Rode up there with nine bikes, twelve people.Got there a little after eleven A.M. all hungry for the really good burgers they serve there.(My husband had been there 2 weeks before). There were only 6 other people only 2 eating. We were told we could not order untill noon from their lunch menu. I could understand this if they were busy but it wasn't. So we packed up rode to the Buffalo Inn back down the hill. Spent our $150.00 + tip there. They could have had this and the server missed a good tip. loosen up!!

Best Kept Secret!

Late on a Friday nite my fian'ce and I were looking for somewhere to dine but didn't want to fight traffic, deal with reservations or high priced parking and decided to get away with a short drive to Mt Baldy and came across the most adorable place nestled in the woods. The BuchHorn Lodge had very friendly staff and out of this world entertainment! The band was one of the best we have ever heard and the performance by a very sexy singer with feathered boas was outstanding we loved the place so much we have decided to have our wedding reception there! Please everyone take a drive up (you will not regret it) David and Victoria
