Mountain Ridge Motel & Rv, Hatch

My father and I took a trip from Salt Lake City through the Bryce Canyon and Capital Reef areas in October. We had not made advance reservations anywhere and had only briefly looked at this motel on-line. When we arrived, we found out they don't have any rooms with two beds, so they offered us one of their "Suites" which had a pull-out queen sleeper sofa bed and a king bed. (and at the same price as a regular room, I believe). The sofa bed wasn't real comfortable, but I've slept on sofa beds that were much worse. The room was very clean, the linens were very clean and the grounds were very well kept. The TV was new and large, and they even carefully explained to us non-techies how to use it. The managers were extremely helpful when we had an issue with a blown fuse in our vehicle which made charging cell phones impossible. He diagnosed the problem, removed the blown fuse, and took us to the service station next door and made sure we got a new one. Then he even installed it for us. Great service! And all with a smile! Great place..... great people .....and we'd highly recommend it.

My sister and I were doing a road trip to Utah and booked this place on account of others reviews. We were not disappointed! We are fairly particular about where we stay with cleanliness being the most important thing. It was a great, newly redecorated room for such a reasonable rate. Shirley, at the front desk welcomed us and continued to be a friendly face throughout our stay. When we asked for a later check out the next morning since we wanted to hike a bit in Bryce Canyon, she went above and beyond our expectations. We would definately recommend this hotel and would return if we are ever in the area. We enjoyed a take out dinner from the Mexican restaurant walking distance from the hotel. We also enjoyed breakfast at the diner down the road the next morning. We were probably only 1/2 an hour away from Bryce Canyon. We had a great stay! Mary from Mission, BC

That's a wonderfule place to stay, on july 4th we went on a trip from L.A. to Utah for 3 days trip on the way to Bryce canyon, we found this small motel. The owner "Mike" is so friendly. the room is clean and comfortable, the Cabin cost me only $65/per night. That's only half hour to Bryce canyon.
